I had the seat off the uly getting familiar things and I found the corner of the rocker box was making contact with the plastic seat pan. A little nip with a grinder on the seat pan took care of it. You may want to check yours for clearance. |

Like this? Mine has about 200 miles on it. My plan as well. DAve |

Yeah, mine rubs there. I just thought it was because I'm a fat guy. |

This is very disappointing. I thought mine was the only one with that rub. Until now, I thought it added character. Now it's just like yours. |

Same here guys. And I can testify that Madduck's has it too. Saw it first hand. I was going to simply use a half-round file to touch it up. Regards, Jim in Santa Barbara |

Judging by the photo above, it doesn't seem to be anything major. What is the downside to the seat rubbing other than it will eventually wear away enough that it doesn't rub anymore. |

Just remember...that was about 200 miles. I took a dremel/grinder to the seat and took some material off. I kept at it till chalk on the rocker cover diddn't show on the seat pan. DAve |

Yo JOhn! Yeah man I still have the S2 and S3. I've been spending lots of time on this new Uly and really like the ride. (Keep in mind that I liked the Tiger too) The Uly isn't top heavy like the Tiger and is very agile in comparison. I enjoy the 1200cc V-twin though I never really cared for the 955i triple. As far as comfort...the Uly wins as well. Bags haven;t arrived yet but folks are in motion. DAve |

Bob and I are going to be about 400 miles east of you this weekend. Riding down Friday and coming back on Monday. Staying at the Anglers White River Resort near Mountain View Arkansas. Ride on over and say hi. John |

Follow up to the seat rubbing the rear rocker cover. At 2200 + miles it's still doing it after taking off some seat material with a grinder. It appears to just be one of those things. JOhn...I took the new bike up to Chicago this last weekend to visit my son. He's a freshman at UIC. This Uly really works for me. The NUked Demon S3 may be up for sale in short order. DAve |
