quick question for the quick board.

I've got to pull my front head. Need to know what size/type of socket fits the head bolts.

Plus I just found out the threads on almost new NHRS XB heads... on the lower rocker cover. Are almost stripped out. So with luck I can use a tap to clean them up and use a new bolt.

Are you talking about the four main bolts that holds the head down to the cyl?

If so it is a 5/8 12 point socket.

I got the spec from the manual.

so its 1/2 or 5/8 looks more like 1/2. I'll just keep the receipt.
