Cluckcluckpush, Sorry for the long delay in addressing your questions. We are putting together our FormulaUSA motor so that we can take the race bike to Appleton for DaveS' Sportbike Day this Saturday! Yes, Jeff received his contingency monies at the beginning of this last week. We ended up 2nd Buell at Road America earlier this year and 1st at VIR towards the end of the season. I believe the check was around $900, so a big Thankyou to everyone who contributed. Jeff put a lot of time and his own money into this year without a lot to show for it in return. We tried to do our best in the AMA, but as you all may know, it is not easy. Yet, had it not been for a bad chain at RA, I know we would have been top Buell and in the top 10. I must also thank the sponsors who are a big part of this board also, Appleton Buell/DaveS and Revolution Performance / Brian Nallin. Without out these guys our team would&could not race. I believe we have the best guys involved with our Buell race team and unfortunately I was not able to showcase them like we have in the past. Once again, a BIG THANKYOU TO BADWEATHERBIKER.COM , they always say that all CAPs is like yelling, right? Next year? Who Knows, we have seen a glimpse, and it is all good! Keep going Erik... |

We sent $1,200 off to Dave Ebben who was riding for the injured Sean Higbee and managed two first Buell finishes. And as HobanBrothers already said, Jeff Johnson earned himself $900 for his first and second Buell finishes. We'll be hoping for a lot more participation and success for Buells in AMA FX next year. Anyone wanting to help replenish/build-up the award fund, please see the topic situated towards the bottom of the Quick Board listings, just above the archived topics. In trying to track down an address for Dave Ebben I managed to get Sean Higbee on the telephone. He's still going through rehab for his finger injuries. I'm hoping to see him back in the line-up for next year for sure. The man deserves some good luck for sure. Thanks to all who participated. We can always use more support. |

I am planning on running more AMA races next year as well, but it all depends on what kind of motor program we can put together for next year. My two AMA races were very forgettable this year and were definitely not a true showing of what we are capable of doing. |
