Well fellas, I made it back from the deep sea fishing trip. It was a lot of fun, but 4 of the 8 of us (including myself) got to suffer the consequences of sea sickness. Very miserable for several hours. We still caught some fish. Check them out! These are called Mahi Mahi (AKA Dolphin Fish)

We caught Mahi Mahi, Tuna and Barracuda. We saw some sail fish, but didn't get one. |

Nice work Drake. Barracuda are some mean fish! Mahi Mahi is really good eating. I love just about any fresh fish blackened. Larry, you missed it! The bolt is clean and you didn't even get to see it. I'm afraid to pull it out of the garage for fear of it getting dirty now. |

James...I can't even comprehend the thought of you cleaning the XB (x-tra brake grime) I'll believe it when I see it... |

I took the cleaning to a new level. I washed and waxed both the bike and my car! I know it sounds crazy, but I normally do so before and after winter. I think I've actually cleaned my bike 3 or 4 times this season. That is probably a record for me. |

I feel like I just smoked crack when I look at this listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buell-Lightning-BUY-IT-NOW-2-900-2005-Buell-XB12S -Lightning-Motorcycle-Mint-Cond_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ49985QQitemZ457955999 7QQrdZ1 Is this a scam? And I will go ahead and address the oncoming jokes in advance: No I don't really know what smoking crack feels like, but I'm sure Larry does. |

You know what would make your car even better? Take that K-state license plate off the front and it would totally look like a good car then...j/k...but no, seriously, do it.

It said "buy it now" for 2.900 with a starting bid of $353. Complete crap. Duff, that pic was originally on the "Bob and Tom Show" web site, without the Jayhawk, and it said, "Not my job" along the bottom. Funny $hit. |

Sam/Larry, Do you think I could borrow your front and rear motorcycle stand sometime soon? I need to get my new tires put on the bike. For some reason the rear tire will not hold the prescribed amount of pressure. After about a day it drops down to about 25psi, but weirdly does not go any lower. Sam, I will come and pick it up at your house if you don't mind. Larry, Do you think we could perform the swap in your garage? Thanks guys! |

Whiskey, How are things going with your bike? Did you get everything back together? I saw that you are buying the SS Drummer on another tread. I want to hear that thing when you get it! |

He sure could have picked a better time to inspect his tie rod ends. I wonder if he got burnt by the exhaust pipe. |

Dtx, Running good! No Drummer yet, but maybe by Friday...Just bled the brakes and they are getting better. There was so much in my rear line that I was amazed. The fluid was brown with lots of particles (and air) I'll finish it up tomorrow and see if I can lock the rear a little easier. When are you changing tires? Talk to you soon, WT |

If anyone in the KC area wants to bleed thier brakes with the Hendrik's syringe method. I have the set-up and am somewhat experienced with its application. 60CCs even! It works really well! I did it with some fluid I got from Advanced auto parts, but I know there has to be better motorcycle specific stuff than Valvolene "exceeds DOT 3 and 4" fluid. What is it? When I asked the parts dude at Advanced he said it meant "4 PLUS". OK. Talk to you all soon, WT (Message edited by WhiskeyTango on October 06, 2005) |

Whiskeytango, Hopefully in the next few days I can get them put on. I am definately ready for them since I can tell there is poorer handling with these worn tires on! |
