left side (clutch side) case is leaking under neath. How big of a job is this to replace. Any thing else I should do if I am pulling the cover. |

ez job, Max -- since you own a 2002 M2, you already have the updated primary chain tensioner, but giving it a look see is always a good idea -- get the new METAL gasket (don't accept the old paper one) -- it seals much better, and turns the case installation effort from needing 3 or 4 hands to a two hand deal, easily -- lastly, if it was me, I'd replace the bolts with stainless steel (hardware store is fine for these, not highly stressed) -- they'll look better longers, and won't strip out by looking at them hard, like the stocker sometimes do |

Bomber speaks truth, an easy job. When you pull the derby cover (the smaller round one) do a few turns of each screw going in a circular pattern around, until you have them all out. If you completely remove the first two screws, the cover gets cocked and binds up the last two, and those fragile little flowers of torx fasteners can't take it. |

New gasket in place. The new style metal one. No leaks. Back on the road. |
