My stock pads (two sets) lasted 7-10,000 miles each. I just installed a set of the Lyndall Gold. We'll see how they hold up with a few track days thrown in. Keith |

I am at 8k and seeing signs of significant wear on my 05 XB9SX. Much more wear then my Cyclone had, though I probably ride this bike on the front brakes a lot harder (because the tight suspension lets me get away with it). |

I got 12,769 and mine are thin, thin, thin. But I have a pair of Lyndall Golds that UPS just delivered from Al's! I'm wrenching tonight! |

I got 18,000 on mine (front/rear)...just changed them with EBC Sintered in the back and stock in the front (since I got two sets) and they work pretty good now...better than I remember the stockers working. |

Better gripping pads = less mileage (generally). Same as tires - good traction = less mileage Obviously YMMV |

Also - depends on riding style AND type of road My EBC race pads last almost 3 months of races at Willow Springs but only gave me one 3-day race weekend at Las Vegas because Vegas is a tighter, more technical course that demands more braking. |
