MY WIFE GAVE ME THE GO AHEAD THE OTHER DAY TO BUY ANOTHER BIKE.SINCE I HAVE ALWAYS FROM DAY ONE WANTED A BUELL FINANLY AND NOW I CAN AFFORD ONE I AM VERY CLOSE TO BUYING A BUELL xb12sCG. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS A HEADS UP ON HOW NEGOTIABLE THE MSRP IS AT THE DEALERSHIP? IS TAX AND DEALERSHIP FEES INCLUDED IN THE MSRP TO MUCH TO ASK FOR? ALSO IF ANYONE HAS A HEADS UP ON THINGS I NEED TO LOOK OUT FOR BEFORE PURCHASING IT I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. THANKS | ||

Hello Big, I bought my 05' Scg last june 17th and paid $10,495 plus my state tax. No freight or setup. I almost bought from a dealer across the state who would sell $200.00 less but opted for the dealer who was local as they will be the ones doing service and warranty concerns. Don't know if you are looking at an 06' or 05' but they may deal a little more on the 05' . I don't think there is a lot of head room in the MSRP though. Good luck you won't reget it.  | ||

don't get in a rush. There are a lot of H-D dealers that are opting out of carrying Buells right now. Older models can be had below msrp, especially if you don't mind one with "demo" miles on it. If you look around there are deals to be had. DaveS from appleton H-D/Buell has a really good reputation for finding the bike you want. He's a genuine good guy and takes customer service very seriously. It is also worth mentioning that badwebbers get 10% off of merchandise if you mention it to him. I don't know if that applies to bikes, but I seem to remember if you buy a bike from him you get 15% off of goodies you buy from him. It adds up. | ||

Just be patient. I bought my '04 XB12s brand new this past June (05) and I paid $6995 OTD.  Like others said try to find a H-D dealership that is getting out of Buell sales and are closing out those left in stock. You'll get one heck of a deal if you shop around. | ||
