Way to go Johnny, I'll be sure and look you up for a ride when I get out of this Hell hole. |

Anyone up for a ride Sunday afternoon? I’m open for riding anywhere but I won’t be able to leave my house in SW Fort Worth till 12:30. If this will work for anyone reply by 4:30 today or give me a call on my cell, 817-308-6990. |

Chris, be sure you have my number. I have yours as long as it hasn’t changed since January. Lets see if anyone else is interested before we decide where to ride. |

I should know very shortly if I can make the Oct. 10th track day. Anyone want to split a U-haul trailer or something? |

Hey, DFW Buellers! Cowtown and I had a GREAT ride Sunday afternoon. He, being very knowledgeable of the area, led me around some amazing roads southwest of Ft. Worth. We ate "lunch" at an unusual place - Loco something - about 5 miles west of Glen Rose. Good times! BTW - Keep the last weekend in October - Saturday the 29th and/or Sunday the 30th - open for a "group" ride. We've chosen this weekend to correspond with the Buell Demo Days at American Eagle Buell in Corinth, where we'll either start or end the ride - or both! Chime in and give us your opinion on where we should ride, and if you'll be riding with us! Thanks!

I can't make it to the Oct. 10 track day, so nevermind about the trailer. |

Since my baby girl is due the last weekend in October, I don't think I'll be able to make it for the group ride. I'd say it's a worth while trade off though! I've also chosen to do the October 17th track day at MSR through these guys: http://www.lstd.com/html/index2.html I chose this one over the Ducati day so I can get my CMRA license. I want it so I can hit OHR as often as I'd like without having to take off work during the week. Club racing seems to be where I'm headed. Although it'll take me a while to get to Skully's level. Did you guys know he won the last race he was in? Impressive. I'm not trying to steal anyone's thunder here, but I would love to see some of you guys on the 17th! |

Dago, I just may be joining you to get the CMRA license. I can't make it on Oct. 17, but I will seriously be looking into it early next year. |

Just checked on HellBuellies@YahooGroups.com. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/hellbuellies/messages It's a Buell thread for Central Texas Buellers. It sounds like there may be as many as 5 coming to Cresson this Monday for the Ducati Track Day. Yeehaw! |

Hey guys, New to the Buell scene. I picked up a M2 and I'm ready to get hooked up with some fellow riders. Please let me know Who, What, Where and When. I am located in Frisco and work downtown. I pretty much commute everyday on the Buell, so I am always open to hook up or ride out. Let me know... Micah btw, I have a trailer that could carry 2-4 bikes easy depending on configuration and an Avalanche to boot. Meaning I can carry people too. |

Hay Micah, welcome to the club. With a SUV and trailer you just became some folks' best friend. RpmChris is working on a ride the 29th or 30th in conjunction with the Demo Rides in Corinth. Chris, will there be demo rides on Sunday? |

Thanks Cowtown! I figured the best way to make friends is to share some of my assets for the betterment of the group. If they don't appreciate, well i will just kick them the hell out of the truck. LOL! Nah! Semper Fi ! Just for the record, I split my time on the weekends with the Kiddo's, luckly they are both boys so the track days will work out great. You guys can reach me at jmaw21@comcast.net of your planning any rides. thanks again Micah |

FYI - the Buell Demos at American Eagle HD/B will be held Friday, October 28, from 9am to 7pm, and Saturday, October 29, from 8am to 6pm (no Sunday demos, since the dealership is closed). Still working on a Saturday ride, but we will definitely begin and/or end at the demo site, and with enough time to actually ride a few new bikes. Stay posted! |

Well I don’t have any pictures to post because I didn’t go. I know I’m such a flake. I called out to the track at 7:00 and an employee said it just stopped raining and with the temperature, humidity and clouds it would take half a day for the track to dry. The weather reports were calling for more rain to move in during the afternoon, so I went to work. After it started sprinkling at 4:00 in downtown Fort Worth I thought I made the right decision. But when I spoke to Shane he said the track was dried at 10:00 and they didn’t get another drop of rain. So I made a mistake, just wanted to get my money’s worth and save a vacation day. Shane said there was 4 Buells. 3 from Austin (one of the Buell owner also has a Ducati and decided to bring it, go figure) and Derek from the DFW area. I don’t think Derek posts here so I’ll pass on what he has to say. Shane said Derek was very fast on his 9. Well 4 is twice as many as the first 2 times I rode. I’m paid up now for a track day so I’ll let everyone know when I plan to go. Don’t you hate it when the instigator doesn’t show. |

Gotta go to bed right now, but here's one to whet your appetite: I'll post the rest tomorrow. I also mounted one of those CVS "disposable" video cameras on the 'Bolt and have contacted Reepicheep about setting it up so I can download it into the computer. In the meantime you should also check: http://www.ducatiaustin.com/photo_gallery.asp 'cause Mike took a few good ones, too. Hey Yall, haven't posted in a while. We had a good ride today. Went to Glen Rose and ate at Hammonds, burb... We had, besides my 12R, a Kaw 9r,Yamaha R1,Suzuki V-Strom 1000,Kaw ZZR1200(interesting looking bike),Aprilia Falco 1000 and a Ducati 900SS... Motley looking group but we had fun...Can you guess which bikes I looked at the most, hint, they speak Italian. Oh, I"m in for going up to Corinth during the demo days, I've rode the Uly but wouldn't mind riding it again or the Lightning long for that matter. I looked at the Buell website and it had it listed from thursday till saturday so I'm guessing that sunday is out... I didn't post the ride I went on today because I wasn't sure I was going until today... Kevin |

Just found out that, miracle of miracles, I have all day Saturday the 29th off. Anyhow, there's my two cents about which day we should meet up. Where and what o'clock is all that's left. Right? |

It will be on Saturday, and we're still working on the plan. Depending on the weather we are going to ride (maybe for several hours), demo new Buells, and eat - in whatever order mother nature prompts us. |

Can yall believe this weather. I had a regatta at Eagle Mountain this weekend and rode my bike out Sat. and Sun. Brisk in the mourning and perfect in the afternoon. Needless to say the yacht races were kinds slow, the winds never toped 10 mph. Have another regatta this weekend at Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club on the north end of Lake Lewisville. So far the weather looks great this weekend, hope there’s more wind. Any ideal where we’re going to ride Sat. the 29th? I’ll be up for a nice long ride, maybe even southern OK. |

You all missed out on one heck of a track day. Derek is f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-ast. We both obtained our pre-CMRA license and will be hitting OHR and MSR like there's no tomorrow upon the next racing season. It would be great to see some of you guys out there sometime as well. The track is where it's at! |
