I know it's kind of short notice but I'm having a Sportbike day at the dealership Oct 8th,10-3:00 I had about a day to put this together. You can help me pull it off by coming! So far I have planned, Sportbike bike show Helmet toss contest, men's and women's, see who can throw my old helmet the farthest. Burn out pit available for those so inclined, it's almost winter here in Wisconsin so might as well burn that tire! Specials on bikes,t-shirts,hooded sweatshirts, parts Buell demo rides! Food of some sort, not sure yet. Band? Working on it. More details to come. Who can come? Anyone want to help me? |

Hey Chris, here is some stuff another Brag Club sponsor does for THEIR Club members.........to help attract others. We do: Dealer sponsored tech days(suspention and pretty much what ever we request) Dealer sponsored Dyno days Baseline dyno run is 1/2 price Dealer sposored rides, in cunjuction with HOG, still not bad our primary rides Buells Dealer sponsored Track days, but those have kinda gotten expensive Dealer sponsored Web site(windycitybrag.com) Dealer lead rides to the races Dealer sponsored Buell racer Brought in the Dynojet dyno guy to explain how a dyno works and to say what he has seen works on a Buell Dealer sponsored flat track racer(Hank Willes this year) 50/50 raffle at each meeting, all prizes donated by the dealer pizza and pop at every meeting sponsored by the dealer Bike show with a dyno contest and Buell class sponsored by dealer with trophys A free place to meet once a month 10% discount 15% if you bought your bike from the dealer Direct communication with the primary, lead tech, and all service guys if you like(i once brought in a part to see the shape it was in, and was given the correct answer and why) Its pretty much up to the group, some things cost the dealer little or nothing, others are pretty expensive, but with a good line of communication and some time it can work out for both parties Dealer gets loyal customers, that meet at the dealer and buy stuff at least once a month Dealer gets some help when they need it(we asked if he needed any help with the bike show) And a farily good stream of buells in and out, to help promote the brand Hope that helps, if i think of anything else, i will let you know |

Richie save it, Some one else has been down this road, all they will do, (dealer), is tell you lies and blow smoke up your until YOU are sick and tired of hearing it like our past leader!! I don't think the Money comes in quite fast enough for them to be attracted to Buell's. YES IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY, NOT LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!! |

Tripper, Give me a call before you get to town. Would love to join you in the hunt for Q. I'll bring the .50 cal (and plenty of shells...Just assuming your not shooting straight). thought of staying over a day more? Ralph Waynes backyard nationals on Sunday the 2nd. Daves, not going to make it this year. Sorry. Paul, I hate riding with a back-pack, therefore anything I can find to use to prevent that I will. You can get about a sandwich in one and a beer in the other. They do fit the bike well and with a tank bag I can haul most everything I want for a couple of days. They were not a bad investment. My fun this weekend posted next door.... |

Concrete construction, while not the most glamorous field, can be quite rewarding. We have had a pretty good year. Hopefully a tropical storm or hurricane doesn't spoil our fun. |

Thanx for the offers of bikes guys, but I was thinking that with Ralph Waynes and my buddies the DHB's having their 26th annual pig roast, I would take this opportunity away from home to DRINK BEER. I'm in a hotel near KCI. Where are you meeting to drive into Waynes? Tripper 716-861-0324 |
