SCOOP first public pictures of my new scoot! This is my new baby in front of the Rijksmuseum. Solo tail is to be resprayed, that's why it's still in twintail disguise, but i couldn't wait any longer. Short history of the bike: delivered in August 98, guy rode it on highways only and at very high speeds only, burnt a hole in the rear cylinder within a couple of months, then gave it back, complaining about the poor quality... I think Buell Netherlands even refunded this assshole... From that moment the bike has been stitting in the back of the workshop of my dealer, collecting dust and being cannibalized... Until I laid my eyes on it and started dealing. Now the complete engine is redone, heads and valves are 'done', crankshaft dynamically balanced. and a RRC Ram-Air filter bolted on. That's to start with. Running it in now, but straight from scratch, this baby is running soooo smoooooth, unbelievable. I am thinking about a special brace for my right wrist, because she's begging to be ridden hard.. More pix to follow S1WL Hein in Am*dam |

nice pics, Jose. I worked the Buell display Friday night and all day/night Saturday - sorry our paths didn't cross. The TST Buellers showed up Saturday night as well... The display S3's there still had the 'old' lowers on them. The new ones are supposed to be on the bikes supplied to dealers. If anyone is interested, the custom painted X1 is a 2000, and is available at Brian's HD/Buell. It has the full Pro-Series race kit, and a hefty pricetag... |

Last one... I promise. More moss. My mom tells me they used to gather Spanish Moss and use it to stuff pillows! Now it's illegal to gather it (I believe). Okay... I just wanted to show you guys a bit of Florida. I'm sure most of you think of vote counters when you think of Florida! Next time, I'll try to throw in an alligator or two. |

rear view of the same bike. This bike was built by Sport Cycle & Salvage in Prospect Park PA. They fabricated this under-tail section in their shop. If there is enough interest, they will make these under-tail pieces available. Call (610)583-5883. |

Does this capture what Court said? Maybe it'll become Buell's new catch phrase for 2001? ;-) DAve |
