Getting rid of the stock dunlop 207's after having a scare the other day in a turn and had the rear slide out. Make way for the MICHELIN PILOT POWER. What is a fair price to have a dealer mount, balance etc.? Thanks for the feedback. |

What?! That's cheap as hell. Most the bikes shops around here charge $35-50 dollars per tire if you don't buy the tires from them. I need to move out of Oklahoma... |

$25 for independent,$35 for dealer around here. (wheel off bike). My dealer gave me a very fair deal for my Scorpions as well, and had them in stock, so check with yours before mail ordering. |

I am running the Pirellis on my '01 M2. I am not sure if it was the fact that the Dunlops had 5,000 miles on them or if the Pirellis are that much better, but it was night and day different. It feels like they are glued to the road. How do you like yours Reepicheep? |

Here in Chicago I called @ to a couple of H.D. shops and they quoted $75 per wheel on the bike and $45 off the bike. I would bring it to an independent shop, however reading the posts in here about axle bolts snapping, fudging the paint on the rims and how delicate the belt is I'm looking to having the liability put on the dealer. Anyone know once the tires are on what the correct psi setting for the front and rear are? Is it the same as the stock dunlops 36frt and 38 rear? Thanks for the input!!!!! |
