Whatever happened to the dyno tests of the Micron exhaust system also? Was looking forward to that. |

The Micron is available - talk to Trojan/adrenalin moto. It's suprisingly quiet, but man, it's a quality piece of kit and it worked well at the races this weekend. |

More importantly what every happened to the Dyno shootout that they were supposed to do of all the other pipes (Drummer, Special O.P.S., D&D, Force, etc)? Anybody know? |

Hey guys,I've been talking to Blake over the past week about this exhaust can shootout. We have a test lined up to happen sometime around the end of October. We are going to get as many cans as we can and using a *very stock* '04 12S, dyno it using each can, as well removing the airbox to simulate a "cut-up" airbox. We'll post our findings on the BadWeb for all to see. If you have suggestions or variations we can test, please feel free to let us know! Peace. |

Does "very stock" mean it has the race ECM, or not? Seems like you'd need the race ECM to really show what we want to see... |

The ECM is easy enough to change out - can we have a base run done with each and then do a run on each pipe with each ecm? Do we have a list of the pipes to be included yet? (Message edited by cruisin on September 22, 2005) |

Cant` knock him for doing his job. Maybe he can pass the pipe over to someone else who has time to test it? |

By "very stock" I mean no mods, stock ECM, stock exhaust can... basically the way it comes from the factory. There's no snorkle but I'd hardly call that a mod and we might put that back in just to create a baseline. We don't have a list of cans to test and the date isn't final but I'll keep you posted. I agree with doing a base run with all the cans with the factory ECM and another one with the race version... We could run one test with the everything stock except the can. Then another test with race ECM and after market can. Then a third with the race ECM, swiss cheesed AB, and after market can. We could even put a right-side air scoop on for one of the tests. That alone should could add 50hp... of coarse it'll be sitting on a dyno... not moving... |
