Odie, Love the primary cover. Did you do that yourself? If so, how? I like my stock crinkle, but it is a pain to keep clean. |

Thanks for the link to oil filter study Fran. The guy at Advance Auto today said he did not know if they could even order the K&N for me. He is checking on it. I figured I would be able to pick up the Fram at Wal-Mart. What kind are y'all using? Where can I get the K&Ns? |

I use the Fram, mainly because I can always find one. I figure as long as you change your oil before it breaks down, and as long as you use a new filter at each oil change, it's all good. I'm climbing towards the 40,000 mile mark, and the bike feels as good as ever. |

B_S, YOU SHOULD TAKE A MOLD OF THE SELECT SEAT, AND MAKE ONE. I WILL TRY IT OUT FOR YOU. OR IF I EVER SEE WHAT MONEY LOOKS LIKE AGAIN, I WILL JUST BUY ONE, BUT WHO KNOWS WHEN THAT WILL EVER HAPPEN. |

B_S/Glitch- Thanks! Drift- yes, I powdercoated the primary cover, heelguards, handlebars, brake lever, clutch lever, shifter, linkage, and I'm not done yet! Easy to do. $99 setup from Eastwood. Turns out professional results. |
