OK, I just got my subframe today and the rest of my stuff should be here next week. I would like to see some pictures of where people mounted everything before I start this. I am sure I can figure it out, but would like some pics of what others have done. |

Yes I did that. There are a few discussions about it. There is one link to a web site that had fairly good pictures on it. The problem is that the site is no longer available. That is why I am asking for pictures now. This site: www.themuell.com doesn't have the detail level I was wanting. And this one: http://www.tsmithbuellxb9slr.com/ has been temporarily disabled. All the pictures I have actually seen here on the site are pictures with the body and seats on and that doesn't really show placement of parts. If there was a thread that I might have missed on this subject that shows more detailed pictures, sorry, but I am stil looking. (Message edited by cdrlmr on September 17, 2005) |

CDR, I believe I have the pics from the tsmith site saved on my hard drive. I can send them to you via e-mail if you wish. Let me know, EE |

My appologies, I can't seem to find the thread tsmith did in which his pics were shown and he described all the work. Contact Buellj79 in the AZThunderbikes StormFronts, he did the same for his bike. His is the Black with the flamed tank cover and D&D stickers. |

Eexb, that would be great. My email address is charles.randall@cox.net Wyckedflesh, no reason for apologies, I know it is something that was covered before and I know it can get irritating answering the same questions over and over. Thanks again. Charles |

I would like to know the change from s to r increases the distance between the mid point of the rear seat to the top of the passenger foot peg? Also can the s rear foot peg braces mount up to the r sub frame without modification? |

kbxb12s- s and r peg braces are the same. you will need two new bolts though. on the s...2 of the 4 bolts go completely through the subframe and have a nut on top. on the r subframe, it uses 4 of the bolts that just screw into the subframe. |

Thanks for the info on the bolts. Do you know if the braces that mount to the sub frame are the same length in the s and r? I am looking to increase the distance between seat and foot peg for extra room for the wife. Any ideas? |

With some help from the pictures provided by Eexb, my conversion got underway today. I am just waiting on the tail plastic I won on Ebay that I am hoping will show up today so I can finish it. |

I think that conversion looks awesome. Buell should offer a model like that. |
