For those who followed my problem post...Tampa Harley/Buell(awesome service) replaced my cooling fan/motor after I threw a code 36. While it was there, I had them throw in a KN I ordered, and an almost new Spec. OPS pipe I bought from a fellow board member. Just wanted to say I'm thrilled with the way it runs and sounds. Turns major heads now. I am still running the stock ecm, and everything is perfect except for a very rare, random miss/dip in rpm only while idling. I've only run the bike twice since the new parts, so I'm hoping it's just part of the ecm learning curve. Anyone else have this happen? Not a problem, just a minor annoyance I noticed that I hope goes away. Otherwise, very happy with the Long!! TK |

I'm planning a complete comparison between my XB9s and my new XB12Ss in a few weeks after some road time and after my new Drummer SS is on. Kevin told me that the Drummer is on its way to me now and should be here on Tuesday. I hope the dealer will have a race ECM for me then. I will need a TPS reset too. So far with only 150 miles on it, I have some positives and some negatives. More to follow.... |
