Any one out there run a Force exhaust. Sounds tough in the clips I have heard...know that it isn't to neighbor friendly, but want to see what people think. Thanks |

F'ing LOUD! VERY F'ING LOUD! It's not TOO bad at idle or just putting along, but as SOON as you crack the throttle it's VERY F'ING LOUD! |

There is a guy down here in florida with one. First time I heard the setup I thought it was a V8 big block running open headers. Every head turned on that bike night. |

I have one on my X1. Cheese and rice it is really loud. I was one of the people who wanted a lil more sound then my V&H. I read on and on about people saying it was loud. I just figured they were wimps. Even at idle it's loud. If you do any long distance riding I would suggest a good set of ear plugs. At WOT it's insane how loud it is. After a year of running it, the novelty of a loud exhaust has worn on me. It's just obnoxious now. With that being said, The exhaust was one of the most noticeable changes power-wise I have made. I have never had mine on a dyno, but you can feel the extra ponies. I'm not a big fan of chrome so the black coating is nice. |

Very loud, and very cheap. The metal is thin, they move the o2 sensor to a different position, the springs break and then if you bike backfires It just might blow the o2 sensor out with a section of the pipe!

These issues with some aftermarket exhausts have been some of the reason I've stuck with the Buell OEM headers. If I recall, it's been said that the Buell stock headers are hard to beat. Besides, if I want to be LOUD. Always got the 883 Sporty with straight pipes in the garage. (Message edited by cataract2 on September 15, 2005) |

I haven't seen one aftermarket header that can approach the quality of workmanship and materials as the stock one. |

TiFORCE looks like a better header. But I've never seen one in real life or even heard one or known anyone who has... |

I don't believe you will find a better header than the stock piece. That goes for both power and quality. That includes the new Micron header/muffler combo too. Yeah, The force pipe is VERY cheap. My recommendation would be to do a search for "force exhaust fixed". I've got pics of how I welded it. It's holding up so far. It broke LESS than a week after I got it. I had to weld a buch of mild steel re-inforcements to it along with some round stock. Another problem... the slots machined into the muffler are too long so it's next to impossible to install the system w/o an exhaust leak... Sorry I forgot to mention all that up above. The force pipe is LOUD and sounds GOOD. But it's CHEAP and BREAKS. It's not worth it. I knew all of this going in, but I also have a welder, know how to weld, got a good deal (I still didn't expect it to break in less than a week though). |

DJ, the tubers had the Borla systems, which IMHO surpassed Buell's workmanship, and materials. Too bad they don't make 'em anymore. |

I must've done something wrong, mine didn't bust until I "lowered" it onto some asphalt at 50 |

I assume you're talking about the Gen 2 pipe? I have the Gen one that has the chin spoiler mounts. It's the front chin spoiler mounts that have proven to be so troublesome. |

Don: Dont be so quick to judge something that is still in testing. The micron system is built very well. I've seen it on a bike now for 2 months with no issues. J} |

Sorry... When I referenced the Micron I was only talking about power. It looks to be made well. |
