Sorry to be sticking my nose in other people's business, but I feel obliged to point out that an early 5-speed pulley will be 1/2 thick, rather than the up-dated 3/4" pulley that has been in use since about 1998 (?). Fitting it to an X1 would require a change in spacer and seal that would then equal the price of simply buying a new one. Not to mention having a weaker part. |

Thanks for the heads up Eric, it is always nice to find something out before you make a mistake. Tom, could you measure yours to see if it is 1/2 or 3/4? If anyone else has a 29T or 30T please let me know. |
