I think the plan is show up EARLY Saturday morning for the Class and stay Saturday night and watch/help out Sunday. I know IF we pass the class we could race the following day, but Jason and I have talked about that and feel like that may be pushing it, but ya never know. I don't know. Maybe will show up Friday night so we aren't rushed Saturday morning. I know they said be there and ready before 7:00am. |

The class is very basic, but your not allowed to crash! If you crash, no certificate. But durring this class you won't be pressured to go fast, just safe! Safety is the main goal and it needs to be out there, there are some riders that it doesn't catch on to well with. The class does start at 7am sharp with a track walk and discussion. Now about sunday, you're trying to tell me you'd like to sit around and watch when you could be enjoying a little friendly competition on the track?? How about some drag racing this thursday? I've talked my sister Anne into running this thursday, we'll be there around 6! |

M2, do they allow camping Friday night? Might be better if we did come in then as to not push our luck leaving here Saturday at 4:00am to get there on time. What's the latest you can show up Friday, if they allow that, and still get in? Also, I haven't picked up a safety wire kit yet, so is yours still available? Coolice, when are you planning on getting there? We'll be tentin' it or sleeping in the truck, but wouldn't mind if ya let us hang out in your spacious, plush, Air Conditioned, Allergenic Proof, (Jon has asthma and allergies as well), state of the art rig!! |

Um, I'm plannin to be there late Sat afternoon. I will be leading the demos here at Starved Rock H-D/Buell so I won't get there til 4:30ish. I already invited Paul James to stay but little people can sleep anywhere, we'll find him a spot in my "bubble" mobile. Just save me a plug for power or the generator runs! I talked to Paul today and I'll be wrenchin for him on Sunday. Fiery is plannin to be there too. I'll have a pit bike (Z-50) with me. You guys racing are welcome to change in the rig and rest between races if its hot. Just have to shut off the tv and eject the kids! Sounds like a great way to wind down the racing season. Pack the place with Buells!! |

Just wanted to let all of you in the Racine area know that I am taking up a collection of clothes, shoes, blankets, etc. for the folks down south. If anyone is interested in donating please let me know as I plan on dropping the stuff off on Friday at the Red Cross. You can drop it by me or I can pick it up, just remember, it only takes 10-15 min. to clean out your closets to help make a difference. Drop me a line if you can help! Thanks everyone! |

I think Robb’s idea is a good one Dana, however as you probably know I have just recently moved and everything, I mean everything I had that I didn’t need was donated to the Salvation Army (also good organization) to avoid moving it, so it’s too late for me. On another note my niece who’s in the Air Force stationed in Delaware is now on standby to go to NO, I know there are others who post here who were called as well !! |

CJ thats cool to.I actually didn't think about donating.Ya kinda get caught up in your day to day routines and sometimes don't think about what you may have around the house and then Robb comes along and makes me think....I've got things that may make a difference in someones well being. Thanks Robb for slapping me and waking me up to helping out in any way that I can. |

M2Guy, Rocco, Griz, how about a "pot luck" dinner Sat nite at the track? M2 you are the "veteran" here whats the usual routine? Just a suggestion, I'll have the full kitchen, microwave, oven, freezer(it keeps ice cream) so if we want to combine resources let me know. Dana- Great to help those who need it, my Rotary club here and church groups are sending out from here too. |

We grill out over open fire or grill. Maybe bring a dish to pass and meat for the grill? Kelli takes care of the food mostly. I know there are potatoes and eggs for breakfast which I normally don't eat to much. Sandwiches for lunch, grilled dinner. Basic camping foods. Also puddgy pies! |

Sounds like a great time!! I think we will have William that weekend, as well as Rocco and Karri having Jonathan, and will be camping out that weekend We haven't done that yet this summer, and William keeps reminding us!! I could even run into town that day and grab some stuff--I have LOTS of stuff for SMORES!! Dana~I think Robb has a wonderful idea there. We have already donated a bunch of stuff at William's school since they are doing a drive. |

Just to let everyone know... I was just doing this donation from a personal standpoint with some friends and family, and thought this might be a good way to get more folks involved. Not a huge deal, and of course I do realize that there are some of you who have donated already, that's great. I just hear about all these organizations asking for money, and with some of us that have more material goods to donate than cash, I thought this would be a good way. If you can, you can, if not, that's fine too! I was offering a way to get things to the charity to save some a hassle, as I have means of getting large quantities of material there. Thanks to all who participate! BTW, it's a charity out of Burlington in participation with the Red Cross, as the RC says they have no means of shipping cost effectively. I just didn't want to give it to Goodwill and have it redistributed throughout this community. |

Dana, I think I have larger problems that the bent bracket we looked at on Sat. I was moving the bike around last night and the belt kept wanting to come off the wheel and idler pulley. Do you or anyone else think I could possibly have a bent axle or sprocket, or are my eyes playing tricks my pocketbook can't handle? |
