Author Message   Dfishman Posted on Monday, September 12, 2005 - 04:53 pm:        Just got back from 12 days riding my X1 in the mountains of Tenn,NC,VA,& West VA.I averaged 283 miles a day,had great weather,& found some great twisty roads without much traffic.Even rode the "playground" by myself.Any of you guys looking to camp check out "Willville" 3/4 mile off the parkway at Meadows of Dan,Va.Great location & great people.Now I have to get used to these straight level roads here at the beach(boring) Only saw 2 Buells.1 X1 & 1 Blast in 12 days   Ebear Posted on Monday, September 12, 2005 - 05:31 pm:        Sounds like a hoot , Donnie...My brother,TBEAR and I did "The Dragon" this year and surrounding areas on my X1 and Aprilia...hope to do again next year...maybe we could hook up?...Our tale is under "Tale Section" called a "A Dragons Lure or 2 Bears at the Gap".   Dfishman Posted on Monday, September 12, 2005 - 09:42 pm:        I always go to the mountains just before labor day weekend & stay about 2 weeks.Hooking up would be cool.I have to figure out how to get my twisty fix here on the flat land.I guess that is what the chopper is for.
