Hey guys, Ive been over at Sportbikeworld.com for the past three years. Anyway, I found my way to this site because I recently after many phone calls to So Cal HD's found an 06 XB12R. I am selling my 95 CBR, hopefully I have a taker by the end of the week. I initially test rode the Bolt at Glendale HD. It was a fun ride lasting about 45 min. The only problem was like I said they didnt have one to sell me so I had to look for one. Im convinced I found the only 06 for sale in the LA area and surrounding counties until after October. Are there any riders on here from the LA area? So far in the week and a half Ive been riding the Buell, Ive seen only one other on the road. |

Welcome and congrats! You'll find it very different here than you do there. |

Get on the Glendale Buell email list. They may not have any Buells to sell right this minute, but they are very Buell friendly, support several buell racers. Good Guys. They have a number of Buell events, last one I went to, there were about 50 Buelligans, not ito mention Erik Buell himself. You will meet a lot of guys there. Unfortunately I am back in NY, can't help much from here:-) |

Ill have to look into that Email list for Glendale Buell. I just got my aftermarket seat today, Feels pretty comfortable, I saw a post on here somwhere asking if anyone had it and how it felt. Its got a little pegasus on each side. Cant wait for those traction grips to come in, those are back ordered until the end of the month. So what kind of Buells you guys got? |

I also live in the LA area, and a usual at the rock store. I'm usually around there in the morning hours (8:30 ish) and sometimes return if I decide that just going down latigo doesn't satisfy me/going down pch doesn't seem appealing. |

Vaneo, Congrats on the new bike! Enjoy. I live in Lakewood, work in Long Beach. The Glendale crowd is a good one, I like to ride/hangout with them. If you see this bike, it's me... But if I'm not on that bike, then I'm on this one... Or, if I get the urge (I often do), I'll be on this one... Then again, I just finished my wife's Dyna, and believe it or not, I like riding this bike too... Just previewed my post and realized I might be coming off as a wiseass. I'm not, I just like bikes, I swear. Well, maybe I'm a wiseass sometimes. Timbo |

Thats cool TIMBO, I love bikes myself. Just sold my old 95 Honda CBR yesterday. I kinda felt sad watching it go away without me on it. I had a love hat relationship with that thing. I loved to hate it, but hated to see it go. Hopefully from now on Ill be able to keep ALL my bikes so they can be in there garage at night like a little happy family. INTEREX, I live off the 101, so Im right at the foot of the canyons pretty much. If I go riding on my own I usually go up Los Virgines, if Im going with my buddies, then we meet up on the Westside somwhere and take PCH to Kanan Dune Rd. |

Welcome aboard! I live in Torrance and have used SoCal HD for service (good service!). I ride an 05 XB9SX which was purchased at Semi Valley HD in Moorpark (cool sales guys). I have yet to meet up with other Buellers.. but perhaps someone can organize a SoCal BWB ride? |

Fullpower, Thanks. I don't want to hijack the thread, but here is a pic from the other side. Like I said before, the Glendale group is a great bunch of Buellers to ride with if you guys want to ride with other SoCal Buell people. Check the "Southern California" section of "Storm Fronts" also for other info about SoCal rides that are happening. Timbo |

Pwnzor -- I have an 04 Firebolt just like yours. Just picked it up last week. What do you put on the black parts around the headlights? Mine are just bit oxidized, I'd like to make them look better. |
