I see a bike in the second picture of Johnb's. For the life of me, is there one in the first one? Man I need to get home. |

with the buell logo in the poster, i would assume that it has some ties to the company???....if it does, are they endorsing the polishing of the frame that they said in an earlier post that they don't recommend???...sounds like a conflict of interest.. |

That frame is not polished, it's chromed. Material has been added to the frame, not removed. Just my observation. Could be equally dangerous, who knows? |

typically, in my experience anyhow, to get that smooth of a chrome job, it would have been polished first! |

windeater, re your quest, saw article about paul bailey who built the bike. think he's located in sydney and may be associated w/blacktown h-d downunder - email them maybe. http://www.gizmag.com/go/2868/ Meticulously built for Buell in Australia by Sydney enthusiast Paul Bailey, the aim was to create a street machine that had no equal and that would turn heads because of its originality and stunning finish. The XB9S custom features nine carat gold paintwork on the petrol tank and both fenders, and the entire frame including wheels, forks and all metal components have been nickel plated. A combination of black and deer hide suede make up the custom seat. Gizmo recently rode the XB9s’ big brother, the XB12S, declaring it one of the most enjoyable roadgoing motorcycles on the planet. |
