Are we meeting tonight at Fuell to go riding? Who wants to go to Lawrence or somewhere else? Should we make it a ladies night and put the babes on the back?

Cereal, You could have joined the Marines and seem them from the Arctic Circle. Larry and JJ, Thanks for the back up the other night. I figured it was a 50 /50 shot I was going to ride home, let alone with out a ticket (there are some good cops out there appreciate good people having fun). I had a great time on our 30 sec, ride before it was broke up. I don’t think I will make it Monday for the ride, that comes from the HMFIC of the house it is our anniversary or something LOL. Have a good safe ride Monday as well. See you all later. |

I'm in for Monday. Fester, I think a climate controlled multi-million dollar C17 is a little more comfortable than whatever $1.27 tent your supply NCO may have issued! |

My plans for the FBRAT are to ride up to Waterloo on Sunday, join the guys for dinner and tall tales, and then make the complete monday itenary. I think Derek Fugate and Bill Cobb will be joining me. I had fun last night, riding that City-X was a treat. yours too Tim, but I REALLY liked the cityX. can't say why, just seemed to jibe??? I apologize again for the route, I needed to get some miles under her, city and highway to make sure I am good for Sunday/Monday. All is well, so well infact, that I let the boys who wanted to, have a go at her. (Tim? you get that smile wiped off your face yet?) I can't wait for this weekend, looking forward to seeing the Farm Mafia and meeting the legend as well as reuniting with the Slobbers. It's going to be monuental. I'll bring a camera in case Jerry's are full from his first days ride.... Digger, I might have sold your Honda, talk to you Monday. Sure you don't want to meet us in Waterloo Sun. night? |

Well I planned BIG on the BBQ so, I believe I have enough food and seating for 16 Hooligans!!!! The Smokers will be billowing hickory starting tomorrow with Beef Brisket & boneless beef ribs !! As Brisket can take up to 12 hours to fully cook. Monday I'll be smoking the rest, Baby back ribs and pork country style boneless rib!! I will have 3 coolers iced with water, cokes & beers!! I think I'm prepared so far!!!

A clarification: 470 and 291 are the same road from Lees Summit to I-70. So, the 2nd meeting point is tomorrow morning by 7am, at the Quick Trip at 291/woods chapel road, near Paddy O'Quigley's |

Well, it's 2:30 am and I just got my bike running. Now to take a quick nap so I can make it to 5:45 meeting. Larry, Tim, JJ... If you read this before you leave, wait up. I'll be at Wal-Mart as close to 5:45 as possible. |

Can anybody reccomend a decent cheap hotel near Bonner Springs, KS? I will be there for a Concert on Wednesday as a part of my two month long journey around the states. A good campground would be okay too. I would like to stay as close to the ampitheater as possible with out losing and arm and leg. Thanks |

The Renaissance Festival is in Bonner Springs on the weekends. Maybe you can attend, but also maybe that will have hotels filled up as well. |

Duck there is a camp ground about 1/4 mile south of I-70 and K7 hwy. I don't know the name of the place. It's a 1/4 north of the Walmart at K7 and 130th. This is the I-70 exit that you will get off at for the consert. |

Just wanted to tell you guys: Alex told me last night that it was "really cool coming around that corner and seeing all those Bikes waiting for us" He was really impressed with the showing from KC and made a point to mention it to me. thought I would pass it on is all. I was glad you guys all came out to! and it definitely was cool! It was great seeing everybody together and having fun, kinda like the old days, just riding and making fun of each other. nice work! |

The ride was really fun, I agree!!!! I wish those roads were just outside KC, so we could ride them every Friday. It was really cool to meet Jerry, Alex, racerboy and everyone else I'd never met. I'll tell you one thing Jerry, Sam, and racerboy can fly on those bikes. |

Tell Alex it was pretty cool sitting there and hearing you guys coming from like a mile away! We were kinda hidden behind those trees there. |

Sam, I meant every frikin word of it. What a cool group of guys you have there. When you plan your trip to East Troy, you can all crash here (about 3 hours from the factory) and we can do a tour of the Great River roads in the area, followed by a cook-out and a few brewskies. Hell, if you're ever up this way, drop me a line and we can meet up. It was great meeting all of you, it was a kick Labor Day and I know we'll be riding together more. Yeah, I'm at home now. Read more on the FBRAT thread... Stupid work. Prior |
