The "new" colors for the topics are quite tough on this color blind individual. Thay all look black to me. Except for the Sponsor News, Information, Cool Stuff link. I liked the lighter blue much better. Just my $0.02. Thanks... |

Thank you for switching back to the original colors for the topics. It is so much easier to see where I have been on this log in. |

What is wrong with the topic titles looking more like black? Not sure how that is tough on color blindness. Please explain. |

Just seemed that it was easier to tell where I'd been with the lighter blue? Must be just me. I will adapt and overcome. Please disregard. |

Personally, I like the new format. Easier to read for us "over 40's" |

Imeazy, I got ya; you are looking for the blue and green to show up more discernably. That does make sense. However, please try using the "New Messages..." search utility. It puts an end to having to notice which threads you've already seen or not. It only displays only links to content that is new since your last "New Messages..." search. That page is my bookmark for BadWeB. |

Hey Blake, how about a dedicated thread in KV for us to upload Powercommander maps? Thanks! |

That would go great in the "Engine - Fuel Sys: Carburetion,... EFI Maps..." topic wouldn't it? Yeah, I just added the "EFI Maps" to the title of that topic. Tip for anyone trying to find an applicable topic on the KV main page: Use your browser's "Find" capability to search for the applicable topic. For instance, if I want to post a question about cams, I would do a "ctrl-F" in MSIE and type in "cam" in the find field. It would then take me to the first instance it finds of "cam" on the page. Takes me right to the applicable topic. Might take more than one try for some, but it is a handy way to search a web page for certain text strings. |

In addition to the "last updated", listing the originator of the thread would be useful. Tim |

Blake, would you add a "Riding Skills" catagory to the Knowlege Vault? |

When searching by recent posts, the resulting topic tree will not allow for topic collapsing, even though there is a minus symbol to the left of the topic folder (topics being "Quick Board", "XBoard", "Knowledge Vault", etc.). |

Blake, perhaps putting a permenant locked thread in each of the main posting areas with regards to using the search function will help cut down on the continuously redundant threads. Not picking on Buelltroll, but his latest request netted 37 threads pertaining to lubing a clutch cable that pretty much covers all of the Buell line is an excellent example of how a search would have taken up less thread space. I know you want more traffic for the KV and applaud your efforts. I just don't think that alot of the XBer's realise just how much of the general maintenance is performed the same way between all models of Buells. I will admit before I go further that I have not looked recently within the KV for specific things, but I know from reading much of the board that there is alot more commonality between the repairs and trouble shooting then alot of the posters really think exhists amongst the lines. FI troubleshooting is common for the X1,S3 and XBs, clutch R&R is pretty much the same for all Buell models, brake bleeding, tires, etc etc etc. There just seems to be the issue of many new people who purchase a new to them Buell stick only to the section of the board that pertains to their specific bike whether its a fuel framer, tuber, thumper or Uly. Having a permenant locked thread that says "read me" at the top of each section may help accomplish your goals. I know it works for alot of other boards. Also, I know you have done so when you mention to move/post in the KV tech threads, but reminding also to use the search function will hopefully encourage its use as well. Hopefully this will catch you while you are safe from Rita and that all goes well for you. See I failed general geography so am not certain how much of the path your about to get caught in. |

How about a KV thread for software? Screen shots, hook-up, procedures, mapping, etc. |

Perhaps it already exists and I haven't seen it or it would be to much to maintain. But I would like to see a "favorite rides" "by state" area on the BADWEB so that we could be sure we visit areas are Buelltastic before we travel. |

How about a look up to find all members that have a certain ride. For example: I ride a Cyclone. I can go to the Old School Buell section and find out things/information I need to, but what if I just want to see pics of other peoples Cyclones for reference. I have PM'd Cyclone owners when I see something on their Buell that I would like on mine. Being that we live in all sections of the world, there are parts that are more accessible in some areas than others. I believe this will also open up our eyes to other possibilities of which to customize our rides. Just curious. Thanks. John |

I have recently come to this board after finding the Buell I have been looking for. While looking for and owning previous bikes I have also been members of other boards. The thing that I have found with this board is that is is cumbersome to navigate. There is a lot of good information but it is hard to get to. If you look at ducatimonster.org or gstwin.com and thier forums you can easily see the difference. I am by no means a computer techie type and I have no clue on what it takes to set up forums or web pages for that matter but the ease of use on the other pages is very noticable. Thanks for letting me write an observation. I hope that this does not but me in the Hall of SHame ANB |

No hall of shame for you. Thanks for citing your observations. I'll bet you get an explaination before too long. |
