I'm looking for after-market turn signal options for my XB9S. I've seen the Kellerman option at American Sport Bike, but are there any others that someone could recommend? -Brad |

Got these at Cycle Gear for around $23 a pair. Bright and easy to install. I'm happy with them. |

Hey Odie- Thanks for the info. Do you remember if those blinkers have bare wire ends, or connectors? -Brad |

I want to say they had connectors. Go to Cyclegear.com I think it is and they are on there. You can order online. Odie |

I have these Mini 6's from Shock Racing: They can be ordered directly from the company. http://www.shockracing.com/products/index.php?ma=SHOCK&c=Marker%20lights&t=Mini%206 They are LED's which I highly recommend if you are going to real small turn signals. Only problem is you either need to put a 10 ohm, ten watt resistor accross the right and left side to provide a load for the blinker relay, or buy a new blinker from American Sport Bike. I have the same ones as Odie and they are great. They do have connectors. At least the ones I bought did. |

I had those same short-stalk signals on my last bike and had an extra pair lying around. Thought about installing on the XB but was worried about all the vibes 'n shakes eventually killing the internals since they're not flexible mounts. Odie or Black_Sunshine, have you guys lost bulbs or noticed the XB shaking them loose inside? BTW, Lockhart Phillips sells tons of short-stalk signals in all kinds of shapes 'n sizes. I bought mine from Parts411, great parts shop and super nice guys. Charlie rocks. |

my XB is still running the original turn signals and bulbs after 15,400 miles. OEM spares are about 6 bucks ( for the whole assembley) hard to beat that. |

Hey Odie...Thanks for the option on turn signals. I checked out the site and will probably get a set to check out. Also, I will probably send you my cheese grater this winter. I think that it's time for a little mod to the back end. It will give me something to work on during the winter. -Brad |

Brad, just a tip, I've found that the aftermarket signals tend to leak in the rain, so I always grease the bayonet fitting and run a thin bead of clear silicone around the lense to seal it to save problems later. Worth 20 minutes extra fitting time rather than trying to get a rusty bulb bayonet fitting out of a turn signal at 2am at the side of a motorway (don't ask how I know!!) |

Firebolt, There are two ways to slow down the blinking. 1. Connect a 10 ohm, 10 watt wirewound resistor, ( avail at Radio Shack for a couple of bucks a pair), ACROSS the both right and left hand blinker circuits. This can be done anywhere in the circuit, the idea is to provide the current load for the blinker relay. I put the resistors on my XB9S under the seat. 2. Al Lighton at American Sport Bike, one of our sponsors, has a replacement blinker relay that works without adding resistors, cost under $20 if I remember rightly. |
