I believe that is the hard part, brand recognition. It's hard to advertise it without scaring people, or leaving them wondering what it is. We have a hard time getting people to participate, but the people that do keep coming back time and time again. |

Late to the thread as usual. . . Craig, thanks for posting the pic and what a great course that was. Probably our best, thank you Jeremy. And Reg, thanks for such a great event. We will try to continue to hold events here in Iowa. |

Matty... Bingo! Pre-event promotion is the key. I've talked with Irwindale. They'd welcome it, but have few, if any, open dates. The locations are out there, no doubt. It just comes down to money, as always. 99... This has always been the problem. How do you convey the funn in a "First gear in a parking lot snetence"? The videos I've used have been effective, but they also scare off riders. THE most effective promotion is word-of-mouth. |

THE most effective promotion is word-of-mouth. i'll see if i can help: BattleTrax is HUGE fun, even if you're the slowest rider out there. if you've not tried it, you have NO IDEA the thrill you're missing, and i guarantee that if you screw up the courage to take just one pass, you'll be the last one off the course at the end of the day, forcibly dragged kicking and screaming, begging Reg, "Please, just one more time, PLEASE!!!" now then, multiply the above by 100%, deduct 10% (ok, ok, 20%) inflation for my over-the-top enthusiasm concerning all things life and motorcycles (one simply does not exist without the other), and you end up with about a 180% chance of becoming addicted to BattleTrax, if... ...if you just put aside your ego/fear/advancing mental rigor mortis and give it a half a chance. sorry Reg, it's been a long day (traffic school - YUCK!) and that's the best i can do.
