Hold on a minute, Mr. Sparky, RE: shifter - if it fits my '00 M2, it'd fit yer '00 S3 as well, it'd seem. I got dibs twice, ya know - 1st because I'm the initial responder; 2nd [and more importantly] because James Banke himself complained to me at the beginning of Sat's Gordon Memorial Ride that I still hadn't hung his jewelery onto my Cyclone. Don't think a second-hand BWB sale was what James was fishin for, but there ya go.... |

Not sure what I just stepped in but, I wasn't sure if you wanted them or wanted clarification on the part. All i'm saying is I will take it, no questions asked. If you want it and twodogs sees that as right i'll live with it, no hard feelings. sparky |

Thanx fer the kind words. Yes, I want it, IF it fits. If not, have at it, Sparkyrafa. Here on BWB, never any hard feelings, just good parts. Mr. 2dogs, please help us out here.... |

Judging by Bankeperformance.com it won't fit either of your bikes so I'll take it! All kidding aside, I'd say FirstBuell gets the spoils.... and you don't know how much it hurts me to say that! |

OK, now I'm officially confused - after checking said Banke website, it looks like while the pre/post-98 brake pedals are different, the shifters are the same regardless. O-o-o-o-h, James.... |

I'm not sure why there's a difference between the sides. This thread reminded me to check the front door... The brake pedal, swing arm bracket, and pully cover from American Sportbike were waiting there for me a day early. Couldn't justify another $250 for the shifter, though.... |
