I have a wrecked 99X1. I bought a 98 S1 frame in hope of using all parts. Since the motor is a fuelly , I didnt know how hard it would be to adapt to the new frame. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be grateful. |

Wrecker...since nobody has answered, maybe I can give you a quick recap of your question: The motor and swingarm will mount without complications. Also the forks won't be an issue either. The bodywork won't fit the S1 frame. You can use a '99 or newer tank (need the fuel pump). As for the tail section, I've seen pictures somewhere of an X1 tail mounted to the S1 body. It would require some cutting and welding. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. |
