I thought you meant we would meet up before the meeting, ride out to Gail’s, and then ride on from there. 8 at Fuel is fine for me though. Anyone else coming? |

Ok ok ok Minnie me is ok, starting to heal, emotionally and physically. I would like to personally thank Larry for making my "zip up" public information. Drake I'm sorry to hear you have experience in this area. I'm just glad I could bring a smile to all your faces, really. |

Good meeting the guys that were out last night. Riding with other Buells is really taking some getting used to! I'm used to standing out amongst the rice bunners. Maybe next time Sam will be able to get the beast running! I've been hearing about that bike since I've been in KC, and I'm looking forward to seeing it up on one thundering down the road! If you guys want to ride post up on my site! www.kcsriders.com Later. James |

Ha ha. I just heard big drops on the roof! I wouldn't be able to make it anyway. I think the lady has other (birthday) plans for me tonight.

SHAZAM! Wheelies on a Honda in a graveyard wearing sandals? I have been riding to work up highway 5 to Leavenworth alot lately, Was taking turns riding the FXR and the X1W to both St Joe and Leavenworth, but had the FXR front cylinder spark plug hole gall it's threads and now have the head off of it going in for an insert or helicoil. The X1W is getting about 43mpg, the FXR about 38-40 since I put the Mikuni 42mm on it. |

I'm definitely going to try to make it, and I will ask Pele since he doesn't check the board often. Are we going to take the same route that Thunder posted? Do we know what time we will be leaving? I won't be making the Friday ride this week becuase I will be in Chicago for a 'job interview'. Have a good ride. |

Rusty, someone told me it couldn't be done! I think digger already had a hole dug, so the clean-up wouldn't have been too tough. I hope when I am finally interred, someone's doing knack-knacks and can-cans over my tombstone.... disclaimer: not a single plot was desecrated in the making of this picture |

Is anyone going to ride out and meet up with the mob at I-70 instead of going North? |

I meant where the path first hits I-70. I would go with y'all, but I don't like 100+ speeds..... |

Come anyways...We all don't ride like the Brothers Grimm....I'm sure we will not be cruising at light speed....Trips are suppose to take time...not to see who can get back home the fastest....I generally cruise 5 to 10 over the posted speed limit so if ya want, you won't be the only one taggin' behind if things get heated... i'm gonna try my best to keep the "Stupid Pet Tricks" to a minimum on this ride, altho i've been known to produce a few of my own from time to time. i've got to get Madduck's Uly clear from Wisconsin to Cali in one piece, meet a TON of Buellers along the way, and then write an epic adventure piece about the tale, and i can't do that nearly as easily from a jail cell or a hospital ward. which is all to say, i think we'll need to keep the 100+ speeds (and other otherwise obligatory Hooligan shenanigans) to a minimum. ride to lean. ride to roost. ride to ride. I was over at Gail$ today and got to sit on the new Uly and I must say, it's a pretty tall ride. I'm about 5'10 and I was on both tippy toes trying to hold it up. It did feel really light though, especially in the front end, turning wise. It really amazed me at how much they've changed on the Ulysses. I think I like the black better than the yellow/orange one up at Topeka I sat on yesterday. You know, the front clear windscreen is only held on by 4 little teats that clip in, not bolt in or velcro...I'm interested to see if they stay on at highway speeds! |

Well then, maybe I can make it. Although my wife no longer lets me ride the Buell. She says "what if you wreck it?" My answer that I'll put it back together didn't work. So, I'll ride the Sportster. It'll give the Buellers someone to pick on, until I figure out how to get a Uly with my empty savings account. |
