Odie... I forgot to order a new O2 sensor. Should I wait to install the PCII (which came today) until I get a new sensor? And is the wire that needs to be extended the only wire that is not bundled (somewhat pink/purple with a flat connector on end)? |

I went for a ride this evening before the bottom fell out. Odie.....what did you do to that tail? I swear by my seat of the pants dyno that that mod gave me at LEAST 14hp increase! |

Stealth- you don't need to order one. Any Autozone, Advance, etc. will have one in stock. They are $49'ish. If you need the part number again let me know. I'll look at my wires in the morning and see. I'm pretty sure it was just the black wire that had the round connector on it that goes to the battery. It only needs about 8-10 inches and everything is perfect. B_S- it was the extra wet sanding that made it super slick plus the removal of the 'Grater reduced the turbulant licence plate vortices based on Bernoulli's 3rd aerodynamic principle as it related to hydrodynamics, blah, blah, blah.....it just looks faster even! P.S. After gazing at your bike for a little bit I further believe (and this is just my opinion once again) that your primary cover would look better gloss black (like mine). All that shiny stuff everywhere but your primary is flat, fading, black.........just an observation....g'nite all. (Message edited by odie on August 18, 2005) |

Had a late night in my buddies shop last night! I did not get the PCII installed yet but... I did get my: cluster problem fixed Open Airbox Conversion Kit installed K&N airbox breather added seat cowl added clear tail lens and red bulb installed headers wrapped...again It took some time... ...I did'nt get home until about 2:30 could not sleep until about 4 and was back at the office by 9... ...but I am really excited. I feel like the cowl is the only part Erik forgot, and the sound of the intake when I whack the throttle is sick. |

S_B.....That would be cool. Hey, you could use one of those strap-on baby backpack thingies that hold her in the front and ride the Bullet. I'm sure she would love it. Although, the Wife might have a heart attack. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the rain. As long as I can get to SMHD/Buell without getting wet I'll be fine. |

No pics yet B_S! It was raining last night so I did'nt get much painting done. I tried painting the cowl but it there was way too much moisture in the air. It looks like crap right now as it got pretty banged up during the install too; but if I ever see the sun again for a few consecutive hours I will get er dun. |
