Joan I think american sport bike and or trojan horse sell aftermarket wind screens for the S. They are I think around an inch longer than stock. Here is American sport bikes extended windscreen http://www.americansportbike.com/ The badweb would'nt let me copy the URL because of nested tags in the address, when you get to the web page at the top go to store, then when the pictures of bikes pop up pick buell, then body/carbon fiber, the windscreen is toward the bottom.

Thanks for the link. I've been there. What I saw in Florida was a short amber windscreen. I'm pretty sure it was on an S as I liked it so much, I went back to check it out. However, I've never seen another one, not on the Buell or aftermarket sites. Anyone have the carbon fiber one on their bike? I'm just not sure I like what it looks like. Thanks. Joan |

Joan, You can take your stock screen to Regal Plastic in North Kansas City, they will make you a custom screen to fit your needs. Tell them Paul Fischer from A2MG Glass (thats me) sent ya. Or Plastic sales can also fit your original screen or just build a new one, they are down on 31st and Gillham (however you spell it). Tell them you want an extension or full replacement, and you will need to know if you want it out of Lexan or Acrylic!! Good luck. Paul Fischer |

Hey buellers Bill Cobb and I and our ladies went to Sturgis last week and had a great time riding out there. We also hit the demo rides Harley and Buell had and rode some new bikes, they had all the new buells I sat on the Ulyses and it is a tall bike like a dirt bike I was on my toes and I am 6'. The favorite bike I rode was the Screming eagle Vrod it was smoothe and fast I loved it and it looked awesome too. |

Thanks, Paul, for the great info. I appreciate it. BTW: Want to let you all know about a great rally this weekend: The Baxter Cycle Rally in Marne, Iowa. It's really a customer appreciation two-day affair. Saturday there are Triumph demo rides and lots of great bikes and riders from all over (all kinds -- Cruiser, Sport, vintage, and more) and Sunday is the bike show (a really good one) and free picnic. Marne is off I-80, exit 51 (I think, closer to Council Bluff than Des Moines), and is a great ride up 59 in Missouri to Avoca where you hit 83E to Walnut, then right to Marne. Should take you 3-1/2 hours (Well, you Buell guys will be faster!!!!). The bike show is well worth the trip as is the backroom where there are about 100 great vintage English bikes for sale, most in running condition. See ya there. |

Just checked the quick board and found that there is a bug in the system. Here is a quote from Blake: "Discus bug.. for some reason Discus decided to make everyone a custodian "moderator" in Discus-speak. So everyone now has two accounts. Will hopefully get things back to normal soon." So our post tallies are going to be all screwed up. |
