Hey Phillyblast did you catch the GLove Coke commercial where they're jamming atop a house in Fishtown? Pretty cool to see Philly on TV...it really is a very photogenic city don't you think? Wasn't sure that you were Philly on SACBORG? |

Bummer about Gordon. In some ways I wish the American Sport Bike Night dinner at Laguna had been longer or we had room to spread out a little. I wanted to talk to a lotta people. RIP |

The internet facilitates these back-&-forth exchanges - it also makes for multiple chat paths that are impossible to monitor! So, I'll be posting this message [and those to follow] only on BadWeb and SouthBayBuellers - those of you on SacBorg, BARF, SBR and other forums, please copy & paste as you see fit. After contacting Chris, Gordon's brother, Feike & Woz have asked me to organize a memorial ride - specifics will be announced after I've spoken with Chris. Any final arrangements the family makes will influence what we do, and when - Jerry/Eeeeek, please forge ahead with the Laguna Seca pavers [and anyone else with other ideas as well]. I'll keep everyone updated as things unfold - the current plan is a Santa Cruz Mountains meet & ride - start & end are undetermined, as is the date. I'm dealing with my grief by taking this action..... Curt p.s. our shadowy Anonymous says it as well as anyone: "Oh man, what a loss. Gordon was incredibly nice. I am going to miss him a lot. He surely lived a wonderful life and left a real mark of goodness that will last with family and friends." |

Anyone know how to contact Wes Orloff. I purchased his old Pro Thunder bike. I'd like to get some history on the bike. Chris, (CFBoss@adelphia.net) |

I saw the Uly at Quaker Steak and Lube in Largo. It was presented by the local Harley shop. |

The 06 Buell Blast not contains the largest engine ever to grace a motorcycle! According to the web site, the engine is 492 inches cubed (8.062 litre engine)! Still, it only makes 34hp. Weird, Overload in Colorado |

Just an observation.... Hey Toney, thanks for the pet names and please do lotion all up and go crazy and enjoy yourself as you wish in private, but I'm pretty sure I'm not really up for hearing about your pink cross-dressing fantasies involving me. Would you please keep those to yourself? Thanks for that Would you believe that was posted by our very own Blake on the ADVRider site! All this time I thought he was an uptight, unfunny engineer. I about LMAO! Way to go! |

Overload: On the Buell site for the Blast: 492 cc. That means cubic centimeters: Almost half a litre: Enough for one pull Hans |

Hans, if you go to the blast page and click on Specs & Pricing, it lists cubic inches. |

Overload, Yeah, possible: Specs & pricing does n`t come up on my, outside the USA, computer. Clicking on (top of) the engine in the Blast picture gives 492 cc. It is then a very serious mistake, and that in the native language of Buell`s homeland. Did you contact the factory about it ? Hans |

To The BadWeb Custodial Staff My apologies for the humorless "smiley" that I posted after having quoted another valued contributor of BadWeb. I shall endeavor to be more aware of how my humor may be or not be taken in the future. Mikel/Wyckedflesh |

Charlie- The best part of having the Uly on those Arizona Highways would have been the jeep roads that lead out into the desert. My adventureous heart just begs to see where they go. |

Hey Better Buellers of America, My name's Wade Haughton...some of y'all probably just zeroed in on my last name and said "Gee, that sound's familiar..." Ferris is my dad, and the genetics gotta be kickin in cause I've been itchin to get into the "Streetfighter" lifestyle for a while now. I've had the honor of meeting some awesome Buellers before, JB, Jim Corso, Court Canfield, and, bless his heart, Gordon Buhle. I think all of them have probably contributed to my delinquency in some way or another. A little about me, I'm 20, hittin 21 in November, and I'm an MP in the US Army. I'm stationed in Korea, with a come home date of Feb 06. Due to restrictions in Korea I haven't had a chance to ride over here, but would like to hit the roads when I get back to Cali. I'm looking to buy a Buell, new or used, prferably XB series with some decent mods. If you know of something, please let me know... Anyway, wanted to get on the board and say hello, I know from the years of Buellin' my dad's done that this community is pretty tight, hopefully you guys got room for one more. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the road... Ride safe, Wade

Wade! Nice to hear from you! Thanks for your service! You've met some legends, your pop is among them for sure. I am more than sure that you'll be able to find an XB to your liking here or someone can point you in the right direction. I'll be taking off with your pop in a few weeks for a bit of an excursion, heard a few stories about ya in the past, but once you're back stateside, we'll have to ride and party for sure. Take care of yourself, find a Buell and I'll probably see you next summer on the road. Welcome to Badweb and the Buell disease, it's a great thing. Keep posting pics too! Prior |

Prior... Nice to meet you, scrolled through the archives a bit last night and it looks like you're a good friend of this community. I've read a little about "FB's Latest Adventure"...hope you and all the other hooligans stay safe and ticket free :c) Jim... Definitely been a while, great to hear from you...hope everything's goin great in your part of the world. I just put in for recruiting duty as my next assignment, and I actually requested Oregon of all places. I've always loved the area and enjoyed the scenery. Time will tell, but if all goes well it looks like you and I might have a great opportunity to go riding together. I'm glad to see you're still the Buell junkie I remember... Give your son a hello for me... Wade |
