I put this belt on my bike the other day. HOLY CRAP! This thing is RUGGED. I held it in one hand with my '04 belt in the other...there is no possible comparison. I would believe in a heartbeat that this belt will never need to be changed. |

I'm wondering if there is a belt of the same design but with the pitch and length for the '03s |

To quote Daves: "Yes, it will work on the tubers" |

Seems like if the original belts were good for ~50,000 miles on tubers, these belts should outlast the bikes. |

"I'm wondering if there is a belt of the same design but with the pitch and length for the '03s" No, the folks at Gates were unwilling to license their tooth design and apparently unable or unwilling to find a solution to the durability issue further than the currently available improved/upgraded version of the '03 belts. Thus Buell now uses Goodyear. |
