Alex that was a long wait!!! And worth every minute!! I think Tripper, Richie & I arrive at the Salina HD dealer before noon that day. As I remember it was dark by the time we got back to KC !! Days like that make a man build up a mighty big THIRST!! FOR BEER!!

Waiting for Alex was nuthin. To meet the famous Ferris Bueller I rode to Bum Fugged Arkansas, got there at the appointed 2:30 PM hour, and began drinking Iced Tea. 46 glasses later, at 11:30 PM Ferris and Racerboy pull in. It seems that Bob's Honda had a breakdown. Poor service by a Honda technician. How ironic is that? (he left the buell at home cause it had recently been run over by a sleepy cager. RIP grey ghost) Note to KC gang. Don't expect an on time arrival. Ferris has this really itchy trigger finger on his camera and will stop every 75 seconds to take a picture. The up side is that we on the web are assured a wonderful photo essay when this is published. Nice route Racerboy picked out! |

I've been trying to call Woodland Cemetary all day and all I get is a busy signal......this is ridiculous.....seriously, what's a guy supposed to do if he needs to bury a body quickly???? Keith..... Keith? KEITH!!!!! GET YER WIFE OFF THE INTERNET! you certainly wouldn't be surfing ALL day |

you know Keith, you could do very little and solve this problem. I mean they have things called additional phone lines that you could get. you could route your internet through the cable company...that would keep the phone lines open you could take a five minute break every fifteen minutes from the porn sites.....OK, OK, two minute breaks. I can go on and on........ |

People calling a cemetary don't want to hear you all panting when you answer the phone anyways. It's more than creepy......there gonna know, or at the very least, think something un-natural is going on..... out of breath???? nobody (pun intended) is in that big a huury for your services. I can go on and on....... |

So where are we meeting tomorrow night for the friday night ride? The Other Place off Metcalf, The Other Place off Santa Fe, or Fuel off Metcalf? I say we meet at 7pm and go ride Hwy 5, but this time lets leave at 7 and not 8. I need to wear down the sides of my tires!! Sorry I didn't make it out tonight but this scratchy ivy sucks balls! But now I have the pink healing miracle lube that has taken care of it all. |

I definitely like Fuel as a meeting place better than The Other Place, much better location. But it is supposed to thunderstorm and the Chiefs are playing Minnesota at 7. I know it's just preseason, but hey… it's football. Welcome to KC James |

from Court: Ferris: We have a "GO" in Kansas at Topeka Harley-Davidson/Buell. Bruce Zimmerman, Buell rider since the RR days, will be on hand with a trained Buell tech awaiting you at 0600 on Tuesday September 6, 2005. If you are going to have some folks in tow, please advise and I'll have the restaurant opened, ready to serve breakfast and I'll get someone (heck, I may do it!) to give you a tour of one of the most fabulous Buell stores in the USA. Thunder, i need you to organize the ride from KC to Topeka that morning, and keep Court advised as to head count so they can be ready for us. thanks. FB |

Hey I know I missed Fuel last night, I was wanting to get out and put some faces to nicknames and bikes I have seen. But I got stuck at work late and that messed with the whole night. I am not sure if this whole being an adult thing is going to work for me. And I will have to see about tonight at Fuel, I going to try and make it depending on the weather. I will keep looking on here for the rides. |

Enjoyed meeting the gang last night, reminded me of the group I WAS involved with before two certain bros. f'ed it up. Larry, good luck man, enjoy yourself, and for gods sake be careful in the rain. Sam, YOU JUST HAVE TO TELL HER YOU ARE GOING OUT FOR A SMOKE AND YOU WILL BE RIGHT BACK! Look forward to seeing your bike again! Paul |

The rain that keeps failing has inspired me to write a little poem: Rain rain go away I really need to ride today Taking corners at 80 plus But the clouds keep making a fuss When I drive my truck, its like riding a mule When all I need is my buell So rain rain go away And ruin a crotch rocket riders day Thank you I'll be here all week. |

Arkansas KICKS AZZ...I don't think there is a bad road for a Buell in the whole state...we did a little over 600 miles Saturday, twisties all the way.... Also, I stopped in the HD Buell shop in Joplin..6 Buells right at the front door (1 was the new SS) and another 6 by the front windows..I wasn't there more than 2 minutes when a salesperson asked if I wanted to take one for a test ride..Nice place and very Buell friendly.. Hey, Guys! Wuss that I am, I'm looking for any kind of windscreen (short) that will fit my XB12S. Just enough to soften the wind that batters my chest. Any help will be appreciated. Joan |
