Is there going to be any additional horsepower next year on the Firebolts or whatever sportbike is sold by Buell? Come on now, you can tell us without revealing too much. You don't even need to say how much or what motor. Just a yes or no. I gots to know! Think of it as saving me from Ducati Bueller, Bueller ?? Anonymous? Anyone? |

Yea c'mon Annony, can you at least tell us if the Firebolt is going to be "freshened up" a little for 2007? |

Any of them can be... Call the sponsors . It'll be a lot cheaper than a duck and handle better, be lighter, have a LOT more torque, look cooler (IMO), sound better (IMO) and it would get better fuel mileage. I want to hi-jack your thread by saying "Why WOULDN'T you go that route?" but I won't . (Message edited by m1combat on August 04, 2005) |

Well that is what I'm trying to decide. However, I don't want to do either if there is a new Buell next summer with more hp.... I sure wish we could get at least a wink from some of the Buell Engineers.... |

It's not good marketing practice to crap on your current models by next year's way ahead of time. That could really hurt sales. Good grief they just introduced a bunch of new models. So, what M1 said. |

Ducati, what for? They just don't do it for me, but I did have high respect for the old 900 Desmo Darmah I owned, and spent as much time working on it as riding it. Since owning an XB they (the Ducati's) are more like a mobile roadblock in the tight stuff. They appear to me to be over-engineered to achieve what? OK, I admit I may be biased, and I like all bikes, just some more than others. |

If you have a line up of basically three models and add 2 to it, that's a bunch. |

Blake, Good point, but from my perspective it wouldn't be crapping on the new models. I'm a Firebolt fanatic. While the new bikes are cool, they aren't my style either. I've got total trust in Erik and his Elves, and I know they won't let the original XB languish for long (at least I hope not). |

I wouldn't call a PM to a current Firebolt owner with a little hint crapping on your current models (still fishing |
