Bird, No, this just means I'll be spending more time on Ebay looking for parts. The Triumph is definitely a different ride then the Buell! By the way, I like your new Honda......I like the single sided swing arm look. Any reliability problems with it? We need to go riding when ever it stops raining!! |

Bill,Ya really should give DAVE (see parts section at bottom of BWB page) a chance to get you parts. I ordered parts from him and got them quicker that I have ever gotten them from TEXAN! (Message edited by roadrunr on August 08, 2005) |

Next time we get together, remind me to tell you about the shop that altered my leather jacket. Just to give you a hint where the story leads, they're on Westheimer, just east of Montrose... I didn't know that Astro-Glide comes in pint bottles, did you? rt |

B2 The interceptor is the best bike I had ever sat on. I will give the Buell the points when it comes to cornering. That thing could turn on a dime. But overall the Honda is dead on reliable. I am up for a ride anytime. Been a wile since I have been out. Kids and Job taking all my fun time. Hit me a birdsongb@schneider.com. Since I spend all of my time at work. |

RR, Looked around site and I'm still trying to figure out who Dave is with?? RT, Miss you? Write you, flowers....feelings destroyed? This sounds like a relationship I ran away from once. I don't get to my downtown office much anymore (if ever), or else I'd swing by and take you to lunch. But if you keep posting your feelings all over web sites you're making it difficult for us to hang out together. Bird, Let me check with the Boss and see what the weekend calendar looks like..........I'll ping you later. |

Get your January 2006 calendars out... I just got off the phone with Dave Stueve (Daves) and he confirmed the HD dealer's meeting will be at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine again this year. SOOOO... Here's the deal - Saturday, January 21 - Dave's bike arrives in DFW. Sunday, January 22 - ALL interested Buellers go for a ride toward Glen Rose (Dave want's BBQ again...but I'm betting he won't eat fried okra). Monday, January 23 - Blake is planning a dinner, and Dave will try to "spirit" Erik away from the HD muckity-mucks to join us again. This gives us enough time to get a few more riders involved (hopefully it won't be as cold), and more folks can plan on meeting for dinner, too. (RT - glad you made it last year - come early enough to ride with us this year!) Watch the DFW Metroplex Buellers board for updates! (I'm posting in the Hill Country board, too.) I live in Nederland, between Beaumont and Port Arthur. Shingles off roof, siding off, and some water from roof in house. Nothing horrible. Just got electricity Sat 10-8. Two weeks without the juice was enlighting. After a week, got a small generator to run fans and some lights. The Buells rode the strom in the garage with no damage. Have not rode them since before the storm due to all the debries on the roads. We have had three flats in last ten days just going to and from work.

Please check out the new track riders school at MotorSport Ranch Houston! Michael Sanchez is a top notch, really a truly great guy, wicked smart, congenial, soft soken, really enjoys teaching others, you absolutely will not go wrong taking a track school from him. If Michael hadn't severely injured his shoulder racing AMA Superbike in '04, he'd likely be on a factory bike and soon to be on his way to MotoGP. He is THAT good. His first year racing in CMRA he swept all seven of the money classes as a novice racer. His second year he repeated that feat in the expert classes while also garnering championships in endurance, and the GT classes to boot for an unprecedented 10 class championships and the overall CMRA championship #1 plate. Even with his shoulder injury he took a first place in the last CMRA Superstock B race this year after just returning to racing this past September. In order to take the win Michael had to beat the likes of AMA Professional racer Ryan Andrews, and do so starting from the rear of the grid in a rain shortened race. I cannot give a higher recommendation or more sincere endorsement for Michael Sanchez. Please check out the new track and let us know how Michael's school goes. Come on RT! DOOOOO EEEEET! |

Mike_bolts: Watch this space! There's enough Buellers in the Woodlands to start your own group--look for Roadrunr, Hootowl, Rem and B2M2, I'm probably leaving some guys out, too. I'm in Bellaire, but we frequently meet in Bellville at Newman's Bakery and ride from there. rt |

And, while I'm thinking about it, I'm trying to lure a group of ATC'ers down from the frozen northeast around the weekend of January 22 for a get-togther at el ranchito chingadero near Brenham. Put it on your calendars! rt |

Hi Road Thing, How far is Bellville from Houston? Sorry my Texas geography is not that sharp. Let me and others know when you guys ride and maybe we can join you. I remember your get together this summer, unfortunately I couldnt make it because of kid's sports, but I will try in January. Best regards! |
