How well it cools the oil will be directly determined by how much snug, physical contact there is between it and the oil filter. Since it slips on, I think that the answer to that is NOT MUCH. Do a search on Billet Cool and see if you like that better. I've run one for six years and I think it's a very good product. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the XB already have an external oil cooler? Looks to me like that would do nothing for cooling the oil based solely on where the oil filter is located on the bike. |

I've already been thinking about that too Bb....Trojan has a chin spoiler that has holes on either side, I thought that might work better. |
