I went to a local bike night the other night, i had talked to a guy i meet at a gas station who told me about it and he said he had seen a few buell there. There were probely about 101 bikes there 80 harleys 20 jap bikes and 1 BUELL that being me. Had a few harley guys ask me about my bike, but also heard more that a few say look it one of those buells in a negitive tone. I just blew it off since i could not of whooped them all. Did not really fit in with the jap bikes either, asked if they ever road any curves and they said yeah, but their tires did not show it,and all they wanted to talk about was how fast they ride on straight road. All in all it was ok but i was want to check out some other buells. |

Get used to it.. Respect from the Squids ( if you really want it ) will come when you roast there a$$es in the twisties. True Harley owners will admire and talk to you about the bike and all the technology put into it. The RUBS will just turn their noses up at you. Hell they do that anyway so F..k it. |

Hey kenny do you use k-o-wool at the mill? Awsome stuf to wrap the inside of your muffler with .I travel the country rebuildind mills aluiminium , steel and glass frit. About the crowd u hang with. Man it's tough but I have grown to enjoy not waiting for people to catch up after the twisties. LOL I suggest that when you are walking through the bike nights, like you said look at the rear tire and wait for those people to come to there bike , sounds like stalking , but it is alot of fun to rub tires through a corner with friends. I refuse to tiptoe through life only to arive safely at DEATH! |
