I think Rage has some head mods so I wouldn't be suprised if he was making 100rwhp. |

Rage, Race can makes good peak, but with the Drummer, off idle it would be making power instead of waiting all the way across.... Kevin www.kdfab.com |

Go to Kevin's website and the dyno charts. I think it's the second one down. |

i looked at the drummer site...looks to be all XB9's. here is a dyno of my bike stock, then race kit, then with race kit and heads (our old dyno computer took a crap so i took the run off a disk i had and used photoshop to put one on the other)

I thought you would have to do some more engine work to get 100HP at the wheel. From the Dyno,it looks like the power comes on a little late. How does it feel when riding it? |

Hey, that's pretty good. What did that head work run ya? |

Do you mean "snorkel" or "velocity stack"? |

oops missed the "r", but yeah i have the snorkel in. as for the power coming on late, it does but it pulls harder right off the line so you dont really notice it. but thats all do to the CNC porting and the big valves you loose some velocity. and for the price on the Nallin Stage 3 heads...im gonna say is that i got them for a very very good price, but if you were gonna get them done i think its like $1,100 |

Why would you leave the snorkel in? I mean with all the other performance work, why leave the cheapest, easiest performance mode undone? |

Blake cause what it did for him is restrict some of the air and richened it up.I actually remember talking to Rage and said to him try putting the snorkel back in.You know what it worked.BTW You know how many have complained of pinging???Well if I take my snorkel out thats what I get.If I leave it in runs perfect. |

If it runs lean use a TFI, it helped me. Due to the high temp. here in the southwest I had pinging problems even with the stock setup. I installed the Hillbilly-Motors racekit (FAST, Deep Thunder, TFI). My TFI is not really dialed in yet, due to the lack of a Dyno, but the pinging is gone. Rene |

The snorkel though really does not do anything for you performance wise.Without it in or out. |

only thing i noticed is that top end in 5th gear it pulls just a bit faster to red line with it in. |

I'm sure glad you guys touched upon the snorkel issue. I plan to run Odie's pipe one day with just the stock ecm & a K&N filter. I was thinking I should leave the snorkel in to avoid a lean issue & now I'm pretty confident that I was on the right track. |

You can get more air with a K&N and snorkel removal. With more air and more fuel we get more power, some people want that more power. The hard bit is to get the more fuel to go with the more air. Otherwise you risk pinging. |
