The guy that sold me my bike had a 12s airbox cover that he gave me with the bike (not installed, though). He said it helps the performance for days you want to ride the twisties, but it made the ride rough and sporadic for daily riding. Maybe I'm too lazy to pop it in and really experiment but I like all the opinions too, so let me have them! How's the 12s airbox for performance? How does it do for commuting? |

Put it on, it will be fine all the time. The 12 airbox lid has the "nipple" to help the airflow. |

do you have a stock exhaust? I dont know if it makes much of a diff with a stocker. Big difference with that & just my Drummer exh. |

My bike feels like it runs smoother with the 12 lid. Don't know if it actually upped the power any, but the ol' butt dyno likes it. I don't think I even have the old one anymore. Buell started putting the 12 lid on all the bikes(for the 05' models I think), so it can't be anything but good! |
