Anybody has ever heard something about a partnership between Bombardier and Buell for 2007? The rumor said that we will see a "Rotax" motor in Buell motorcycle for 2007 with more "ponies" in it ! Maybe Anonymous can help us ? Thank's a lot ! |

It could have a steam engine in it for all I care. If it's got more power I'll take one! |

That would be GREAT! Make the current engines too for those of us that like the low powered sportster engines, but just offer something compeitive as well. Rotax builds about as good an engine as anyone out there. |

I'd have to agree with spatten1. I think you could keep the old twin choice and introduce the Rotax motor too. Hey, even BMW has a Rotax powered bike. Between Rotax and the VRod motor, Buell could redefine it's performance image and be competetive on all fronts. |

I still say the mother ship HD will be releasing a full fairing, Vrod motored, HD race colors sportbike sometime in the near future. I have my ear on the rail and I hear the freight train approaching. |

I think a Buell / Rotax connection is very plausible and speculated that this year's new Buell model might have a Rotax engine. |

Rotax was HD's shorttrack motor until they decided to try their hand at using the Blast motor. With all the strides they have made with the Blast motor, the Rotax is still the better motor in my opinion. |

Not too far fetched. Bombardiers plants are'nt too far from Buells. One in Racine WI, and one in Waukegan IL. I've done construction work at both and have seen some interesting engines in the R&D and test labs in their Waukegan Plant. |

Well, if they're two new models today make a big impact. We might see Buell with a new engine. Though it would be through HD if anything. |

Rotax are great motors, the VROD is nice but huge, but why should HD bother when they already developed the VR1000 engine...... xbolt12 |

I predict in 2007 I will still be riding my 2005 12Scg hoping to find a big bag of money along the side of the rode with which I could use to buy a 2006 Ulysses |

I've always said that my "dream bike" would be my XB9R chassis with my Aprilia Mille Rotax V990 motor. Love both bikes, but would sure like them to mate! |

Doesn't Victory motorcycles use Rotax engines? If so, those twins are supposed to be pretty smooth and powerful, plus the motors have a nice look to them. It would be nice to see something a little different engine wise! |

Has anyone actually riden a bike powered by a Rotax engine? Call me strange but I think that a great proportion of the Buell feel is the shake the out of you at idle and rattle the windows at speed engine. Rotax and Singer sewing machines go hand in hand as far as I am concerned. |
