Did you all notice that while gaining 2 new Buell models we lost an old one? The XB9S lightning appears to be no more. the only 9s left the city X and the XB9R Firebolt. (Message edited by buelliedan on July 23, 2005) |

We lost the XB9S last year when Buell introduced the city. So really it has been gone for awhile. |

Why are the 9s going away? |

They're still here. The "R" is still here and the "S" went iMAC. Still very present and very cool IMO. |

Hmmm, tempted to change to black. While I like the Blue, it's a bit of a pain to keep clean and the clouding from the gas is a complaint. |

The new color (kick ash black) for the CityX is sweet! And I am loving the XB12Scg color (valencia orange - transparent) too. I do think each model should have more than one color choice, though. These new models are neat! |

I find it odd though that the 9S (now the 9SX) does not come in a Low. The 12 now has a small/medium/large spread (XB12SCG/XB12S/XB12Ss) You'd think that the 9S would have a low model for new/shorter riders or those stepping up from the confidence inspiring, comfortable short Blast... |
