At least we don't have rain in the forecast until Wed. eve. Last year I hadn't missed a day from May 1 until that Wed., it was pouring so hard I had to drive the car. |

We were at Bill's Pizza in Independence. Guess you didn't get the memo. Craig sent out an email late Tuesday afternoon with the details. Had I not gotten that, I guess we would have had dinner. We were supposed to meet there (Bills) at 6:30, The boys didn't show up until 7:00. Figured you all were pulling some sort of prank on me. We heard a bit about Laguna, the ArKansas trip and shot the bull in general. Suppose we'll meet up again in August, unless you want me to come and visit Waverly for a home cooked meal (hint, hint). Suppose we had 7 at Bills, how many were at the OP? I was happy to have a 160 mile dinner trip instead of my usual 200+. The riding is great (except for the straight roads), but I've got to hustle sometimes to Waterloo when I get off work at 5. CRAIG!!! Send emails out a week in advance, dude! I'll be out for Battletrax, hopefully with a clan from Dubuque. Prior (Message edited by awprior on July 20, 2005) (Message edited by awprior on July 20, 2005) |

So Steve, or any annons, can you feel the extra two inches of wheelbase on the Ulysses? Or does it still have that wonderful "whippy" feeling that my 9sx has? Man. If my belly was not still full of bait from the 9sx from last year, I would be on my way to my Buell dealer at this moment with a deposit in hand for the first Ulysses to come off the truck! |

Hey! The Ulysses looks like it has a big old knob for suspension adjustments sticking out (like the VStrom). Very cool! |

Anybody else ever put a buell into a harley/buell dealer for a tire, and after waiting 5 days being told that they don't have the tire? That the tire (170/60) is an unusual tire size? I think it is incomprehensible that they could have a bike in for service for 5 days, and not know they do not have the required parts to do the work. Lake Shore Harley will never see my bike again. Not that I think they care. No chrome on it. (Message edited by cmodtopgun on July 23, 2005) |
