I finally let go of the past and will be picking my 03 XB9S (1100 miles on it)from Dave S. on Sunday....I'm sure I'll miss the tuber a bit, but couldn't hold out any longer.. Now I can stop just lurking around the XB board and actually be a part of it. |

I bet.Usually though Dave bring the first XB to your door step and you sign the papers at your own Dinning room table.I think Dave likes to make sure his customers are comfortable.Talk to him about it. |

Not to jack your thread, but I'm moving to Overland Park on the 5th of August and it would be cool to ride with some Buellers in KC. Send me a PM sometime and I'll send you my number. |

We are meeting about half way at his house in Waterloo...I am in KC..so it should only be about 5 hours each way...I would drive the whole way if needed. |

I sometimes wonder about trading my S2 towards an XB9SX. Don't think I could do it though. |

Kandie....Yes I talked to Dave..(I hoped to give him a laugh but you beat me to it) Doughnut...I know how you feel..However a friend of mine hit it on the head by saying "For every one thing I fix 2 more go wrong with it" and unfortunately, my finances only allow me to have one bike..and I want to be able to ride as often as possable...not fixing this and that while my friends are all out riding.. I will say this about the M2..I just did a 3600 mile 9 day ride last month and other than rear wheel bearing going out (could happen to any bike) it ran and performed great. Larry |
