I have an X1 with the race ecm and a wileyco exhaust, will a different air cleaner help the power any? I was thinking of the buell race type. What, other than engine work, is there left to do? then, for the winter. what engine work should be done first? Thanks |

none if you don't need it! Those things run fine if you just take care of them. but I did put cams, carb, ported, new exhaust, etc... on mine, depends on what you want... sometimes I wish I hadn't when I hear a nice quiet buell roll by, just a purring along, mine is a little more/too beligerant. |

ah yes, the Quiet. I do love quiet too. but quiet and fast seem mutually exclusive and my wrist wants fast more than my ear wants quiet. my wrist really wants a track bike. |

Just put a K+N in your air box. I have them in stock |

Dan- Use the K&N filter and take a dremmel cutting tool to all of the plastic inside of your airbox and "gut" it. Dramatic difference! |

my wrist wants fast more than my ear wants quiet. Mods for the fast and wrist. Ear plugs for the quiet and ears. |
