Thanks Odie! Wish me luck. I wonder how much suspension travel the new model will have? |

Stealth, send them an email (K&N Auctions) and ask them if you can buy it now. It was listed this morning as "Buy it now" for $100. That's a pretty fair price. As people figure out that they can be used on XB's the price will start going up and up.... |

I think that's what Glitch has in mind...... Oh no no no...Not to my dear bike. I'll be building a real supermoto. They've got to be the least expensive of all the race bikes. And after seeing them at Road Atlanta and ripping up our playground... Well... I gotta have one! As far as my XB goes, I may have to change the rear. Wait 'til ya'll see it. |

I think I would get in alot of trouble with a supermoto although I could hit the dirt and get away!! I went to Ga. this am to get some Lottery tic's and stopped by the Dealer in Dothan for a few oil filters. Just before I got there I passed a motocop (on a Harley) going about 60 in a 40. Thought I was good until I'm standing in the HD parking lot taking off my helmet and he comes around the corner. He turned off his bike and asked me "How fast?" I gave him my best dumb look (not very difficult to do) and said "Uh, 50?!?!" He said "Alot faster! Slow down!" I gave him my "Yes sir's and thank you's" and considered my luck used up for the day.....I know there isn't the drama here that New12r has in his stories but I feel that's a good thing for me! |

Blaster, Mike and I saw one of those at Road Atlanta. Sweet bike. I'll build one from dirt bike, just so I can say I did. Lunch next week? This week is hell. Odie, that's as much drama as I'm comfortable with, any more would be none too good. Glad it worked out! |

Glitch, just posted two of the banners on my website in numerous locations. They look very good. I've contacted Blake and I should be up and running on the BW by today or tomorrow. Thanks again for your help. Odie |

I was/am thinking of a DR650E. Think flat black with 17 inch wheels and street slicks... *drool* |

Odie- I wish the cops were so nice here. I've already almost lost my Co drivers license that I don't even have yet. 2 tickets- 10 points $267 (12 points allowed in 12 months) No warnings of any kind here. They want your $$$ worse than GA and they LIE to get it. I hadn't been pulled over in 6 years for ANYTHING then twice in one week. Both times were bogus. 1st in my jeep- The speed limit dropped from 35-30 but no one would ever know it cuz the sign was obscured by a tree. Got a picture of it so maybe I'll get out of that one. Then I was on my bike going up a the pass (a Gap in GA terms) at rush hour, with sand on the road and the sun in my eyes. The cop pulled another bike, a Porche and me over. He said I was doing 70 in a 40??? Yeah right. I asked to see his radar gun and he refused- said he didn't lock it in so there wasn't anything to see. He also tried to ticket me for not having a Motorcycle endorsment even though my GA license clearly shows it??? Sheesh. I use my cruise control all the time now!!! I've found that if you get far enough in the mtns there aren't ANY cops!!!! |

Well, I decided to practice rolling burnouts last night and kill a tire, No problem. Well I get the bike home and go to remove rear tire......No chance in hell, last time I put the axle in I cleaned it up with a wire wheel and sprayed it down with WD-40 and put it back together, So far no luck in gettin it to break free. Dumb arse me did not use anti-seeze and now I am paying the price. I got some tools to bring home and try tonight so we shall see. |

That definitely is not the same bike as the one in the Buell advertisement scan that DaveS posted. Different fairing/headlight, different front fender placement. I realize the ad is drawn/airbrushed, but it sure looks like a detailed drawing done from an actual bike photo. I suspect it'll turn out to be accurate and that more details that can't be seen will turn up. Also check out the anony postings in the several threads here at BadWeb on the new Buell. There is definitely more different than what's seen in the above photo. I'm betting the bike above was an early prototype and not the production model. |

B-S: Are those rims and fat tires on the X-1 you posted a standard wheel with over sized tires or after market wheels all together. I hav'nt seen them before and I want wider rear and front, you know Exile style. I think it looks good. |

Stealth: I'm checking with a local bike shop up the street to see if we can get a whole used brake assembly off of an R- or something. Do'nt know about cost or anything yet but it's worth a try. I'll let you know what I find out. By the way, did you get your wiring issue fixed yet? |

Odie, what are you using for creating your webpage? Are you just trying to get a background sound or something? I may be able to help you out with an intro page, using Flash. If that's what you're trying to make. Let me know. Shred, yeah, I saw your "calling card", I figured it was you, but it was late when I got home and all I wanted was to veg-out. Blaster, any day but Monday or Friday is good. The Varsity is best, besides, it's almost a tradition. I'd like the Ulysses' front fairing if it didn't have the reflectors. Kinda Jason looking. Hey, B_S, how about a CB Hockey mask fairing |

Glitch- I'm using 1and1. It's a hosting/website creator/domain type place. What EXACTLY they use to create/publish I'm not sure. I would just like to put a sound clip on the products page by the pipe section for people to listen to. Thanks, Odie |

Silverbullet.....I have no idea about the rims. 1313 posted the pic in Cool Buell Pic Thread. It was one of his friends from Germany. Maybe he knows more. It would look very dope on your ride. Glitch.....Very Jason looking...I'm assuming CB means CF in Glitch World. You could put some sadistic mouth graphic below the headlamps. Odie...no package...are you sure you had the right address and zip? |

I'm assuming CB means CF in Glitch World. Hello, my name's Glitch. This is my world, and welcome to it. Odie, check 1and1 and see is they'll accept .swf files. If they do, and they should. I may be able to make something people could click on to hear a specific sound. |

Glitch- from what I can tell it will only let me load gif's and jpg. I tried to find the FTP deal but to no avail. I may have to call them. Is there anyway to convert the mp3 file (it's on SMHD/B's sponsor page in the archives) to fool the site so it can be posted??? This 'puter crap gets frustrating.... B_S- correct address unless you moved in the last 8 months..... |

I dunno Odie, I just checked 1and1, and it looks like you're pretty limited as to what you have to choose from. Looks like you have to use their stuff, with the exception of a company logo.

Do you know the part number for the Rattle can Buell frame paint that matches the subframe on the XB9? They only offer the colors of the main frame. I'm checking with a local bike shop up the street. Sweet, I will buy whatever we need. If they don't have a line on used parts I don't mind buying OEM. I really appreciate it! did you get your wiring issue fixed yet? It is kind of embarrasing...but no. That's why I did'nt go to the mountains last weekend. I did get shown some sweet local twisties in Jackson though. I am waiting on a few parts from American Sport Bike that should be in tomorrow. Maybe another mod night is in order! Odie... FTP access will solve your problems. U can just upload the mp3 files to the server and link to them from your pages. It will also allow you to upload Flash files as Glith mentioned. |

Stealth- thanks man. I'm calling them at lunch because in the FAQ's it tells me how to access FTP but when I try there isn't a link or anything like there is spoda' be. I'll let ya'll know what I find out. I think FTP should solve the problemo..... |
