I'm posting this to let everyone know of the incredible efforts and service I received form Buell employees Chuck K. and Chris W. I previously had fruitless visits to a couple dealers to correct a "pinging and/or timing" issue on my 05 XB12R. The timing had been set a couple times and after the last, the bike ran poorly and still made noise. Chuck K. went out of his way to keep me as a customer by diverting Chris W,a Buell factory tech who was on vacation here in California,to my dealer to check the bike. Chris W. had the bike picked up and did all the work himself and installed my race kit and desnorkled. The bike now runs absolutely awesome! I've been in the automobile business now for 27 years and dealt with several japanese and domestic factories and have never seen this level of commitment to the product or the customer. Erik,if you listening, your engineering genius is equaled by your ability to hire these kind of people to support your mission. I thank you all.....John |

great to hear, Eurotwins .. . so what did the tech do to kill your ping for good? correct the timing again and install the factory race kit? |
