just my luck, couple weeks to sturgis & run over some metal on the road. now have to try and figure out how i'm going to buy new tires and still afford to go to sturgis. was wondering where i would find the best deal on them, looking for two sets of diablo's because a friend and i both need new. any suggestions? |

http://www.tireexpress.com/category.cfm?Category=1252 Tireexpress.com has decent prices on Michelin Pilot Powers. Not Pirellis I know, but I have 'em and I love 'em. |

ya, have heard those are good too. don't have any first hand with those though. my friend has the diablo's on his tl 1000r and loves them. it did make a huge difference in handling on it. plus they hook up faster and better than my dunlops. but sounds like almost anything would be an improvement over those........ |

I've seen Krispy Kreme's that have more mileage on them than the Dunlops! |

Got mine from www.americanmototire.com too--good prices and service. Absolutely love the Pirellis--it was a tossup between them and the Pilot Powers, maybe next time... |

Bake, I paid $220 US for the set--including shipping! The trick is to avoid paying border taxes... |

Kootenay, how did they ship them to you? I live in Calgary, and those prices are about $100 CDN cheaper than what I paid (367$CDN tax, recycling etc). This was about $200 cheaper than what the dealer wanted for the tires, but they made their money by charging me more on the install. |
