Yes. But in this day and age, one must always look for the best deal and work with people willing and able to go the extra mile, literally. Does not mean you do not support one by dealing with others when the other is more in tune to your needs. |

I wasn't aware that when you join a BRAG Club that you have to deal with that Dealership only. It seems that some are a little to paranoid, and some like to try to expose it. Me personally, I get what I want, where I want, and I really don't care if someone is offended or not. If that's how BRAG Clubs work, then I quit. I'm dealing to purchase a Ducati race bike right now. Does that mean I'm disloyal to Buell? NO!! That's why I live here in the USA, so I have a choice. Yeah, I'll leave it alone now,but man, some people worry WAY TO MUCH!!! Dana P. don't get P.O'd at me, just voicing MY OPINION. Getting tired of all of this. It may be time to step back for awhile. Think I'll do just that. Now, excuse me while I go put my new spark plugs in my bike and rearrange the garage for my possible new toy. |

But dana, were you not the one reading me the riot act for suggesting that CJ ordered a set of frame sliders from Daves, instead of supporting the sponsoring dealership? |

Apples and Oranges! CJ is loyal. She bought the sliders from the fellow that sold her the bike. Come to think of it, Dana is loyal as well. He bought another bike from the fellow that sold him his. Relax folks. It's just money and the sponsoring dealers appear to get more out of the clubs than they invest compliments of free labor at the events and demo rides. Just a general observation, but I may be wrong. |

Steve, watch it or your post may get deleted. I kinda had this argument last night & in a way Dave actually has supported my idea in the past by stating that while he may...or any local dealer for that matter.. not always have the lowest prices, you will get superior service & attention to detail. If you like your local dealer enough to have a Brag chapter thru them & have asked others to support them, well then shouldnt you do likewise & support your sponsoring dealership? Pretty much all the dealers in this area are offering the bikes at similar prices & a dealer can get any bike they need just like Dave can. Why have a Brag chapter & expect the dealer to go out of their way for you if you dont return the favor? For folks who live in crappy areas & may not have access to a great dealer, sure Dave is an awesome choice. But when you have someone right near your house who would also appreciate the business & took a huge gamble a few months back by agreeing to take on Brag chapter..well isnt that a slap in the face? |

Well, I may regret this, but it seems to me, the people b1tching the most are the people with the least amount of time and energy invested in the Club. And it all boils down to this............. MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS. And with that, goodbye. |

Greg, I'd hoped you'd take the hint. My bad. I'll spell it out for you. One more word trying to stir up here and it'll be your last. Think to yourself before hitting the button on any/each new post... "Is my post a positive contribution to the site and those who visit it, or is it just a wise-crack or worse an argumentative statement meant to instigate confrontation?" I'll try to take that same advise to heart as well. I hope everyone will. And maybe Dana and the rest of us will try to avoid over-reacting to the baiting of trolls. I met over a hundred Buell enthusiasts at Laguna Seca. I didn't see a single argument amongst them, including Cecil. |

Kids, kids, kids, You guys are worse than my 6 & 7 year old girls Mom, Dad, she's touching me...... On another note, NN, didn't you say you were going to post pics as soon as you got it? Chop chop! Weekend racing news!!! Saturday, Formula 40 LW had a great run going battleing for the lead when the bike started to sputter and backfire, not happy Finnished 4th Missed my next race, battery was fried. Sunday race 1, finnished 6th but had a very good race! race 14, finnished 5th! Had a great start, held onto 3rd, but with two laps 2 go 2 bikes got around me, kept up to them for a lap then they pulled ahead slightly and left me with 5th. Overall another great weekend for J&S racing, 2 more Plaques added to the wall and now turning consistent 1:23's at blackhawk. I need another second or 2 and then I'll be running up front. It was quite fun actually seeing the lead for a few seconds this weekend! I'm not racing again until Sept I'll keep you posted. Have a great week! Tom |

Sorry M2 no pics, I was the starter all day. We had a good turnout, a couple of 3.2 sec runs up a 130 hill with 3 steps cut in it. They were on 2 stroke cr/yz/kx 250 + bikes. There were a couple H-D's that ran, I think they did it in 4.1 or 4.2. A Kawasaki triple, 2 stroke was there, ( remember those?) and did ok. He needed more hill to run it good. Also a couple inline 4 Suzuki's ran but again our hill isn't long enough to really get with it as they said to me. Glad to hear(see) ya did good. I'll plan to go to Autoban this fall to watch and maybe do the track day too. Oh and a Norton climbed as well as a BSA. Gotta love that old iron still goin strong. |

Oh M2 the scenery.....ah ya there was some cool bikes there and the other scenery ....well my sunglasses were so full of dust after the first round I could bearly see to the top of the hill and I didn't have time to look at the other scenery, too hot, low attendence and the creek was completely dry, so....lol |

Kelli will be more than happy to take some photo's of you guy's on the track. She's come along way with her track photos. I remember the first few, an empty corner, back of someone elses bike,...etc... These were even with a slower speed film. I'll be sure she has better film for sept at blackhawk. Jason, you going sept 24 with Rock? NN, where's the photo's?? Some of us like looking at pictures Rocket, if you need some help with the basics or have some race questions, let me know, maybe I can answer them for you. |
