My one week old XB9SX that I only have 120 odd miles. I'm going up a hill the check engine lights comes on.But she runs ok,no weird idling or engine behavior. What I did when this happend(twice already)is stop and re start the engine the light goes away. Then I went again for another ride after the stop/start I did and she war running ok. On the freeway today only running 60-65 miles on a slight incline it appeared again(check engine light)but she's running good,no lose of power what so ever.I exited and stopped the motor and restarted .She fired back up and running good. What do you think is happening? Its difficult to say, you really need to check the codes that the computer is tossing in order to get a general idea of what is being affected. |

With 120 miles I wouldn't put much thought into it. Let the dealer worry about it and report back to you what it was. |

Take off the seat and look at where the wiring harness for the ECM passes over the battery terminals. It has likely rubbed through on the sharp edge of the terminal. Slap on some of that split loom cable armor, and reroute it back to where it should have been in the first place (under the terminal). |
