I'm not sure that Winger, "Seventeen" would be considered head thrashing, per say, but good none the less. |

Desert loving in your eyes all the way. If I listen to your lies would you say I'm a man without conviction, I'm a man who doesn't know how to sell a contradiction. You come and go, you come and go. |

Wang Chang? I did see Motley Crue in concert a few months ago. I couln't believe Vice really pulled it off. Lee pounded on the drums non-stop, ever while everyone else took a break. Lee's solo lasted about ten minutes and Mars even with a fresh hip replacement gimped his way around while he shred the guitar. The BAD BOYS of rock and roll!!! |

Day and night . . . the shadows move too slowly From dark to light she promised she could know me Remember when . . . I watched her on the stairway She was drinkin' wine . . . and she told me what the stars say . . . Some destinies, they should not be delivered . . . But in her eyes I saw a thousand reasons Day and night I feel her skin . . . it's thin and white as pressed milk I closed my eyes and she vanished just like burnt silk And what remains was like some fallen thunder And my lips were chained; they were filled with empty wonder But the stars tell lies, it blinds the only warning And when darkness dies, there's nothing left but morning . . . Just day and night Day and night . . . the shadows start to scatter When touched by light . . . each promise made is shattered And even when the question find the answer But even then, they're something like a dancer Like day and night . . . dark to light I move from day to night |

Stealth- yep, that's the one. You can also use the one for S3's (which will be cheaper usually). All you have to do is lengthen the black wire that goes to the battery terminal. I would suggest the O2 sensor. Let me dig up the part number for you though. You can get it at Advance Auto for $49. I'll post tomorrow. |

Hey dudes, got back from my week of chillin' and riding in the N GA mountains yesterday. It was a LONG, hot 300 miles back to SC. I figure I put a little over 400 miles on my S3 while I was in Georgia. I got to Vogel State Park about 4 PM last Sunday. As I was headed north on 129 to Vogel last Sunday, I met a guy head south on 129 on what looked like a black XB with polished wheels (maybe frame too?) riding with another guy on an unidentified sport bike. That unfortunately was the ONLY Buell I saw all week. The weather was hit and miss. Fortunately, I went out and bought a set of Frogg Toggs right before I left. I got caught in a couple of gulley-washers different times last week. I was sure glad I had them. Vogel State Park is a great place to stay; it's smack in the middle of most of the good roads. I hit lots of good roads in the area, including 129, 180, 60, 197, 348 (Richard B. Russel Parkway), and some side roads off of these roads. I had bought a copy of Motorcycle Adventures by Hawk Hagebak last year, and it had some really good suggested routes. I even rode back over to SC, up 28 to Highlands, NC, and back to GA via 106 on Thursday. ALL of these were great roads, but I think the more I ride it, the better I like 180 (Wolf Pen Gap Road). VERY isolated, very little traffic, TIGHT turns that require full lean at moderate speed- man, what a great road. I hit T.W.O. for a few minutes almost every day. They only had a couple of people staying last week (two Canadians); I guess the sucky weather kept most folks away. Sorry I didn't get to hook up with any of you guys. Maybe next time... |

It's getting so the only riding I'm doing is back and forth to work...At least work has it's rewards...Like the stupid internet stuff I get - I've discovered a new deity to worship - The quarter god. http://www.fazed.org/video/view/?id=31 |

So, I heard a Buell went down on 60 south from T.W.O Then ran into Buellish at T.W.O, he also told me that someone had went down but was alright. Stephan maybe? Hope your o.k! Buellish and I saw the buells come by heading north on 60. Hey, Buellish had a BLAST talking about life, Bikes, sweet rides. ZOOM!ZOOM!!! That burger was good. FredFZR and Crazyron were late, on sat. so I left on my own SOLO BABY! We hocked up for a short bit F-FZR had ducktaped a Videocam to his bike. Had some cool pics he said he'd send me a copy. Only saw JoeyR1 in passing go north and south on 60. Nobody went down around me. I must not be the magnet for squids or riders going down. A small group of guys were talking about wrecks, I think we all can agreed that if you ride either for a short time or for many of years it happens thats just part of it. The best thing we can do is be very alert to the roads, surroundings, weather conditions, most of all know your limitations and ride your own ride and go home alive! Gotta go I'll chat more later. The 310 miles or so on sat. and the 290 miles today wooped me. The pain, It feels good! Found a road that I had forgot about with a six or so nice long sweepers reminds me of the snake in N.C It was so fun I turned around and did it again. I'll bring a map to the Brag meeting on thurs. to share with the group! |

Anybody seen this on a bike? Is this what Stealth is sporting? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=35570&ite m=2491587256&sspagename=WD1V I'm not partial to the whole war mongering theme, but thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone else wanted to look cool like StealthXB. New12r & Buell666....Nice ride yesterday. Man, we were in the zone running 60 South from Morgantown. I had some serious tunnel vision on the last part of 60. Shred, I saw you and Buellish going North but didn't want to stop and mess up the great run. Stephan.....Let us know how your doing. Bike had minor damage. I think you took most of it. Important thing is that you walked away with little damage and banged up pride. Just remember there are two kind of riders: Ones that have been down and ones that are going to be down. Don't sweat it, we'll get ya rolling again. Didn't you say you wanted to change those bars anyway? I'm sure we can pony up a few parts for you in the 3%er network. Hey, at least we know that the BRAG roadside assistance really works. Drift....nice to ride with you and your buddies. Those Triples were tight. |

Stealth- the O2 sensor part number is 15716. It is a Bosch 4 wire sensor for a 1996-2004 Ford Explorer. $42.96 at Advance Auto. Same as the K&N part for $100. Pick up a crowsfoot to pull your old sensor if you don't have an O2 sensor socket with the cut up the side for the wire. If you need anymore info or help let me know. Later, Odie |

Stephan, Tough is the word of the day, I hope you get to feeling better soon, I did not have any idea you were busted up so bad. We can get the bike back together no problem, I think I even have both the pegs you need as well. Resting today, I had a great workout yesterday, B_S, B_666 and I found a tight little groove and busted down 60!!! What a ride! I found myself going through the photo corners on the way down in 4th gear, the bike had no problem pulling out and I did not even know until about 3 miles later! Conditions were really good on 60, 129 was wet and still had a lot of loose gravel and stuff, did not even try 180, too shaded. |

Is there not a source where you can get a whole used assembly and cannibalize it for what you need? If the brake line has a different size at the resivour from an R-1 to the Buell Hose wizard can make a line to use and they are just in loganville. (Message edited by silverbullet on July 18, 2005) |
